Classic Sky.That's what they call major development??? Didn't we know this already?

SSN can not keep up with other media.
Even if we win the league and Real finish fifth, he'll still be off. Would love it if he did change his mind but can't see it happening. He knows the chaos at Real and the constant managerial changes but being with his family, friends and girlfriend is more important to him.A lot of things can change in 1 season. Just saying.
Cause what happens next Summer is totally out of hands as from midnight on Jan 1st De Gea can agree to join any club he wishessunama said:People can't predict what will happen this month. How on Earth are they predicting what will happen next Summer?
Glad we've adopted this stance, at the end of the day keeping de gea for another season is more important than 18m or whatever ridiculous amount Madrid are offering. Either completely rinse them for De Gea or get a player in return and if Madrid don't fancy that then they can have him next year. At least then we have a further year to look round Europe and find a replacement/further study those we're presumably looking at already. Plus, De Gea can't afford to kick up a fuss when he's not even the guaranteed number 1 for Spain. If Valdes moves and plays regularly, Casillas impresses at Porto and Casilla plays a fair amount at Madrid, they'll all be in with a shot at starting at Euro 2016.

I wouldn't hold my breath. He doesn't give a shit about doing right by us. We need to be on top of the situation and avidly look for his replacement.Any hope of him signing a new contract?
Even if its just for us to get a higher transfer fee!
It's probably not likely though!

Surely DDG is the guaranteed starting keeper for Spain regardless of where his career takes him, no? I don't see any of the mentioned keepers stepping up to his level.
Now that we have him here for another season, there's a possibility that we may be able to convince him to stay for the long term, or at least sign a contract that forces Madrid to pay out the nose for him. SImilar to what Ronaldo did.
Hope so.I think we are bluffing - i don't think we have any intention of losing 25 million on him - we have just leaked this to the press as a last roll of the dice.
Nope that bridge seems to have been burned.Any hope of him signing a new contract?
Have to say but Big Dave does sound like a wuss. Can't be without his girlfriend blah blahHe hasn't so far, but another season here and us progressing in the League and CL and with Ed / LVG telling him do the right thing by the club he might sign a 1 or 2 year extension.
Thing is then he'd probably be thinking what if Real don't come back in for me, I'm stuck here without my girlfriend for another 2 seasons
Feck sake with his money he should be with a different super model every night! She has him wrapped around her ickle finger!
If I were him, I'd be fecking fuming at both the agent and RM.I wouldn't hold my breath. He doesn't give a shit about doing right by us. We need to be on top of the situation and avidly look for his replacement.
Oh for sure he's probably angry with his agent and RM, but he should also be angry with himself for taking a stupid decision. He's not a child, everybody knows that you cannot trust the RM hierarchy to do right by a player. Why take chances then? If you're negotiating with them, you should always ensure you're in a strong position. Should have ensured he signed an extension with us before engaging with Madrid in any kind of transfer talk. But (1) his agent Mendes probably thought 'I'm so powerful and United are pussies so no way will they make any trouble if De Gea wants to go" and (2) De Gea being the coward he is, fell for Madrid probably slyly suggesting to him that they wouldn't go for him if he signed an extension. If I were him, I'd be fecking fuming at both the agent and RM.
Had he signed a new deal 18 months ago, he would not only be earning double what he is, that is nearly 6 million in lost earnings, but he would have the leverage to get higher wages, or at least matched wages from RM. Now hes on lowball money, and after obviously tapping him up, RM so value him they wont even stump up a reasonable price for him, and are leaving him to see his contract out.
Thats an absolute shitefest of decisions by his agent.
I don't know if this was mentioned during these last two days but according to ABC ( http://www.abc.es/realmadrid/notici...s&utm_content=uh-rss&utm_campaign=traffic-rss ) and probably some other journalists Madrid has said to Woodward that 25m€ is the final offer. They will not include Ramos in any operation. The article says that Madrid is a bit upset for the confusing way that Manchester drove this negotiation, firstly asking for Benzema,Bale or Cristiano, later Ramos and now Ramos and Navas. If Manchester wants to negotiate seriously they maybe include Navas(who according to El Confidencial was Van Gaal option last year)
