Mr Anderson
Eats, shoots, leaves
I don't know, I find it hard to believe that he's not in the right frame of mind to play. He's been a professional throughout this ordeal, keeping his mouth shut and doing what has been asked of him. We've seen countless examples of want away players who have no problem telling the world they want to leave. We didn't have that with De Gea. Real Madrid will have been in contact with his representatives and he'll know that he will be a Real Madrid player the question is only when. Personally I think Real prefer to wait until next summer and get him for free. When Real Madrid want you, it's a full court press and everyone associated with the club will be speaking your name and that hasn't happened.
He made some uncharacteristic mistakes against PSG, but he looked perfectly fine against Barcelona. Goalkeepers make mistakes. Schmeichel made quite a few and Van der Sar had that one against West Brom.
Doesn't matter how professional you are, some things weigh you down. He wouldn't slump deliberately, it can happen to anyone in any part of life. A slump or delay is amplified when you are in sure a starting position as a goalkeeper. The "right frame of mind" is just too open and general, makes him sound half arsed which we know he isn't.
He didn't impress Louis against PSG or in training it sounds like, after a very good start to the pre season. No smoke without fire.
