Incoming deals into Spain have to be completed in 15 hours apparently. If we make it through tomorrow he's staying as the Spanish window to buy closes a day earlier, right?

If DDG stays, I expect him to sign a new contract with us.
Hopefully without an increase in pay. Shouldn't really be rewarding disloyalty. If DDG stays, I expect him to sign a new contract with us.
Why?If DDG stays, I expect him to sign a new contract with us.
Strangely i just come here to say that. As much as i was confident that he will stay i am confident that he will sign new contract because:If DDG stays, I expect him to sign a new contract with us.
He wont sign..Madrid will bench Navas no matter what he does this season, they are that sort of club.Strangely i just come here to say that. As much as i was confident that he will stay i am confident that he will sign new contract because:
1. he saw Real don't want him that much as he thought
2. he won't risk being benched for the whole season
3. unitl he sign new contract questions will be asked for every mistake he will do about his comitement
4. Keylor will perform at Real and they will not be interested in De Gea anymore
Why would he want to do that?
Why?

I rate Keylor highly and he will do well. And as we seen Madrid doesn't focus on GK spot as much as on their attack. The GK can never be a marque signing and if Keylor performs they will keep him as their first GK. One more thing, De Gea will not be totally free next season, they are often a signing on fees paid to players with no contract and the players often ask for more money. And in that case Real will rather keep Keylor as they already have a backup sorted with Casilla. He wont sign..Madrid will bench Navas no matter what he does this season, they are that sort of club.
And the reason he wants to leave hasnt changed..his gf is still living in Spain, and she wont move to Manchester..
No offer from RM means they don't value him enough
I don't think it's that they don't value his talent, just that they don't need him that much right now. I'm sure they will have conveyed that message to him. "We really want you here, but we won't pay a huge fee when we can get you for free next season. You're still young and will be our keeeper for the next 10 years, just hang in there one more year"
Those aren't comforting words for any player to hear. Especially coming from a club which signs players not always based of the necessity.
Media reports say he will get a 12m pound signing on fee..Even if he were to stay at United on that new contract for a year he wouldnt get that much..Maybe the promise of a generous sign on fee will be comforting enough...

Aren't we willing to give him a nice contract? It isn't just about the money. If Madrid don't sign him, it is cue for Woodward to sign him up to a long contract.

Yes, he needs to start against Pool if he is still here..hopefully he gets games for Spain in the break. This idea that he'll sign another contract is wishful thinking of the most fanciful sort.
Best we can hope for is one more good season. I hope he gets his place back once the window closes, will be complete lunacy if he doesn't.
Or if we finally cave and let him go this summer, for that matter.
For this to work the seller has to be more desperate than the buyer.Well, the Spanish transfer window closes at midnight tonight. RM are doing what I'd be doing - holding off until the last minute, then putting in a "take it or leave it" bid when there's no time for any further negotiations.
and not have Sergio Romero as their only other keeperFor this to work the seller has to be more desperate than the buyer.
More like wishful thinking. He won't sign and move on for free next summer.Strangely i just come here to say that. As much as i was confident that he will stay i am confident that he will sign new contract because:

People said to me that when i said that he will still be here next season.Anybody thinking he'll sign a new contract is 100% deluding themselves.
If he signs a new contract, the buying out of his contract, increased wages, plus sign on fee will exceed that. I think he will be advised to sign a new contract as you never know what will happen in 12 months.Media reports say he will get a 12m pound signing on fee..Even if he were to stay at United on that new contract for a year he wouldnt get that much..
Difference is, he has no control over whether he's here this season or not.People said to me that when i said that he will still be here next season.

If we need any proof of this, just look at the ridiculous fee we're being taken for.Talk is that Mendes had a heavy hand in this Martial business with the proviso United then let De Gea go.
It's more likely than not.
He's off.

Make that 9 hours, but Im sure if a deal is agreed, then the transfer could be completed before the day ends..I think its stupid that we are still negotiating this lateBatten down the hatches then!
