Dean Henderson | Nottingham Forest loan watch

Guy sounds entitled to be honest. By the nature of his profession he should know that any “promise” is contingent on him being available to play and in form.

Heard he was a cnut behind the scenes, proving himself to be a cnut out in the open too. He's probably got enough ability to have a long Premier League career, but doubt he'll ever play for United again.

There was rumor that Rashford was leaker too but everyone still want to kiss his ass

Are you in the Dean Henderson thread rallying the troops to turn on Rashford based on a rumour? Is that the end goal of this post?

You wonder why we have so many weak cnuts that down tools and turn on managers.

What in fecks name has he done to deserve to be no 1 at our club? feck all.

Exactly enough is enough of these mentally weak players who think they have a sense of entitlement, Dean Henderson is everything that is wrong with Man united in the last 8 years, we need a full reset players like this need to be gone so they don’t have an impact on young players coming through.

People bashing Ole for what? He supposedly promised Hendo to be the no.1? I don't think thats the whole truth

And what happened when a few of Liverpool's defenders got injured? Many of our players are also crocks, and our seasons almost got derailed because of injuries.
That's why it's a fine balance. You don't just stockpile players. But you also don't go in with the assumption that there will be an injury crisis. If one happens, you turn to your youth and hope you can get by until it's past pretty much. But planning for an injury crisis by stockpiling average players is a horrible way to do it and never works.

Ole bashing because he was the reason our squad was horribly assembled, overly bloated, resulting in multiple squad players with no roles to play but were told that they would have important roles, leading to disgruntlement throughout the squad. Aka, the #1 reason for last season's shit show.

Agree with Danny Murphy here
You can’t get promised a starting position except you are Ronaldo or Messi
What happens if you lose form or get injured
It’s a 25 Man squad game and everyone is there to compete

Absolute bollocks, all teams have a core of players who are pretty much gaurenteed a starting spot if fit and available.

And this is even more apparent for Goalkeepers, the other things is being backup GK you could quite easily spend the entire season on the bench as the first choice GK may never get injured or suspended. Being a backup for any outfield posistion you will get minutes as injuries, fitness issues and suspensions are much more common.

He has evey right to be a bit annoyed if he was told he would be number 1 but actually ended up playing 2 games for the entire season, it cost him his place in the England squad and has detrimentally affected his standing in the game.

Ok but he literally did it.

With who? There’s so many examples of us letting squad players go for very fair fees through Fergie’s management. I’m sure it must have happened for you to be so certain, but definitely wasn’t the norm.

That is EXACTLY what he’s doing.

Here we have, in his own words, Henderson berating [though I’m not really that offended] the club & despite all this the poster you quoted somehow draws a thread to someone whose. . . face fits, & you know what I mean by that.

Danny Mills 100% spot on.

Does he realise we still pay his wages the daft cnut. Hope ETH fecks him off as soon as he returns from loan.

Nothing wrong with what he said. I did something similar 4 years ago when the company I worked at did the similar thing to me. Don’t make promise if you can’t do it in the first place, it could ruin or stall someone’s career. I understand his frustration.

I forget and it's impossible to Google as you just get stuff about Ronaldo. But it 100% happened. SAF persuaded them to stay, promised them game time if they did and they didn't get it, and they proceeded to complain about it in the media. That it happened was memorable to me because it seemed quite ruthless, although obviously not memorable enough to remember who it was.

Cavani said something similar about the arrival of Ronaldo, we had Martial, Cavani wanted out but we convinced him to stay only to add Ronaldo at the end of the window....so Cavani decided to cruise throughout the year and Martial wanted out by January, you can't have 3 players for one role who are all looking to start, Dean is an EPL goalie he knew De Gea had been first choice for years am sure he wouldn't want to sit around why not continue with De Gea/Romero which was working just fine. Same scenario with Lingard when Bruno was comfortably first choice in the role and we had Vdb to back up why add Lingard to that, he had something good going at West Ham should have been left there. Same with Bailly renewal when he didn't want to renew but we convinced him he'll feature only he didn't.
Worst thing is Ole never rotated players, so if you aren't a starter you'll be stuck on the bench. You see were you'll have so many disgruntled players, there's a reason Pep let the likes of Sterling, Sane, Ferran, Jesus leave because he knows keeping them would poison the group.

He didn’t do enough to get a place at United. However it suits no one to overpromise to players about game time, would be better to be straight with him.

Young and English so obviously it's his birthright to displace one of the best keepers we've ever had...

I wanted him to be no.1 after DDG's disaster season during Ole's 2nd year but that was mainly down to Dave's poor form rather than Henderson's ability.

He's looked solid enough bit not exceptional when he's gotten starts and certainly not enough to warrant the entitled attitude he's seemingly got after his successful loan with Sheffield.

The man he deputized was probably our second best player last season and won the POTS so it would've been shocking if he was displaced as no.1 this summer as Henderson seemingly expected.

Dave getting back into peak form early in the season coinciding with his bout with covid was unlucky for him but that's not enough to disrespect the current manager and the club over it for. Especially when he's actually one of the highest paid keepers in the league as is.

Either way I hope he has a terrific season for Nottingham Forrest so that we can collect a decent fee for him next summer as I'm afraid he's thrown a wrench into whatever ambitions he had to be the United no.1 in the future. The club really didn't need this fuss or negative press heading into matchweek 1.

I am sure he was told he would be number 1 to start the season but I don't think for one second he was promised he would be number 1 in perpetuity. Sucks for him that he got COVID but the plain truth is he was unavailable for the first few weeks of the season during which DDG had the best run of form he has had in a couple of years. I do think RR could have given him a couple of starts in the league or let him go out on loan in the Winter window but there was a lot of chatter about him acting like a twat and leaking to the media, nothing proven but this article sure makes it look like he is guilty as charged.

In the final analysis, we need an upgrade on DDG but Henderson is not it and he never was, fingers crossed for a decent loan spell and a nice fat transfer fee next summer.

I mean, if he’s been given false assurances/promises he’s every right to open up. Gone from pushing for England #1 to sat doing nothing. More fool him for not pushing for a transfer really but there we are.

Honest and down the middle. Don't see why should he sit around waiting on more false promises. For me his time in the first team was the best the team has been defensively for years, all the stats bear that out. Shame he never got to build on it. He's a really good keeper, too good to be sat on the bench.

I also don't see why people are surprised by his words either, he's always shown he has plenty of arrogance and self belief. Vital traits really if you aim fo be a top keeper.

I am quite certain he was told he’d be competing for the number one spot. Then he got covid and De Gea had a great season. Those are the breaks. If he wasn’t good enough to dislodge De Gea, then he has to look at himself. He got his loan love this summer and that should be the end of it. The interview makes him look extremely self entitled and toxic, and I think we can all breathe a sigh of relief that he’s no longer at the club. Especially when given the opportunity, he never put in a string of performances that inspired confidence. So shock he’s ended up at the same club at his toxic mate Lingard. Two players who think they are much better than they are. Neither was ever good enough for United, but acted like they were the second coming. Good riddance.

We’ll never truly know how he might have turned out with no real opportunity. Admittedly he had a great loan at SU and looked to have potential. A bout of covid and broken promises doesn’t mean we owe him anything.

It highlights more to me the inadequacy of OGS who I’m still amazed got as long as he did. He should only ever have been the interim as initially employed and I can’t imagine any epl team turning to him. He relegated Cardiff and so proving he doesn’t fare well in a relegation battle and he failed with a club who threw money at him.

It also massively points to the woeful long term planning of the club. They should have had a clear idea of what they were planning to do and subsequently (currently) lost out on a decent transfer fee. My word we’ve been an absolute shambles

here’s hoping eth can buck the trend. It looks positive. I’ll have more optimism when those that have been clinging on for too long have gone. It makes no sense for us to go into the season with 7 CBs

pretty clear as was expected that he was one of the bad apples from last season now. it's rare for me to agree with danny mills.

if only we could sell the cnut. even on his best day he's worse than DDG, and I'm one of the ones that would like to see a massive upgrade in DDG in certain areas of his game (distribution/command of box)

he's even more of a cnut considering we are still his club and pretty sure we're paying part of his wages this season. he can feck his loyalty bonus right off

Heaton will be serviceable for the time being , we should let Dean go and look for a long term replace for David the next summer.

It's fine for him to be angry and feel the way he does but he doesn't need to go public about it. It's completely unnecessary and just creates problems. He should be professional
Yeah agree, sadly seems like that’s our squad’s MO these days.

He got covid and De Gea played well. That’s football. No sympathy for him with his entitled attitude.

Entitled but doesn't have close to the ability to back it up, hasn't done jack in the shirt to be talking like he is.

We don't need players like him at the club. I fear that the deal we have made is a bad one... if he has a bad season he's gonna be back here stinking up the place.

he sounds a bit thick and seems like he doesn't have good advisors

even if this is true he should just shut the feck up about it and focus on playing well

there's nothing to be gained from speaking out other than looking like a cnut

He’s complaining about false promises no? Either way surely that’s his career at Man Utd over.

Good thing that the ład is ambitious and wants to be the first choice goalkeeper. Shame on him to cry about this to the media.

No player should be promised a guaranteed place in the team. He isn't good enough and he can't mentally handle it.

Feck him. Really dislike his attitude to ETH and the club considering he's under contract here.

Its about honesty - Last season Steve Cooper used the phrase “next man up” constantly. The shirt was yours until you lost it. Everyone knew where they stood and we had the tightest dressing room you can imagine.

The plumbers in Nottingham will be busy this season with all the leaks that will be coming out of Forest with Deano and JLingz in town
