With Forlan and Giggs up front and 5 at the back I'd say we're not set up for attack. Wonder if Alex will make his subs at half time for a change.

half time now, was watching the match on tv. basically, we have been restricted to long punts, not a single clear cut chances, except a giggs shot in the box which was blocked. quite a few decent crosses put in by fletcher. He's having quite a good game at the moment. best player in our team at the moment.
blanc was left in the wake by luque for the depor goal, who then squared it for victor to tap in.
lynch really resembles irwin, the way he run with/without the ball, the way he kicks and the way he crosses, etc...

Lynch has picked up a lot of MoM awards in the reserves and has become increasingly solid and reliable as the season has gone on, the best of our reserve defenders. I don't think he'll be better than Gary Neville though.

Lynch was unfortunate with that OG, it would have been a goal anyway if he'd not gone for the header too, and it was Pugh (who predictably has been terrible) who didn't defend the cross. Forlan has been back to his worst imo, taking shots yes, not hitting the target at all though. Stewart came on at half time for Roche, which I thought was a bit weird, so we're 4-4-2 now.
