Also Mata's goal that I didn't think was mentioned much as well. Thought it was offside straight away but it was replayed once in normal time and not talked about at all after that.

You've got to wonder if mancini is almost hoping balotelli will get himself sent off, so there's a different scapegoat if Citeh's league campaign goes tits up. Can't think of any other reason for not hooking him off at half-time.

Not a bad thought. However I just think Mancini thinks he might get a goal and then haul him off..

To be fair, he does seem to be City's most dangerous player in every sense of the word.

Christ, what a bastard. No complaint to the referee, though. He doesn't have eyes in his back, he's looking at the ball and that's what he should be doing. TV replays should get Ivanovic banned, but has anyone even talked about the incident? We know how this goes. The FA will do nothing otherwise.

Sure, the ref can do little but this is exactly what board reviewing is for afterwards. Perhaps the press has missed this, as they skipped talking about the Mata goal as well, but I'm sure Martinez made a complaint.
 
Kompany is calm and collected and as Captain it should be radiating through the rest of the team. Unfortunately they look over and see the basket case that is Mancini losing his mind every few minutes.
