I can imagine us playing something like this if we were to get both players:
------------Rooney
Kagawa-----Hazard-----Valencia
------Carrick------Scholes

He'd bench Welbeck upfront. If United all but signed Kagawa, who's a playmaker, and have an abundance of top class wingers, where exactly Hazard will play?
I thought playing time was his priority.
To be honest, we'll not be playing well with any of those formations. People seem to think Kagawa/Hazard will solve our problems from this season. But those two players will only be addressing a position that was never our problem in the first place. If we still play Carrick-Scholes in midfield next season, then we will not have addressed our issues in midfield.
Bad idea playing Kagawa on the wing, even if he's moving all over the place. If he arrives he must play through the middle IMO.I can imagine us playing something like this if we were to get both players:

He's off to Chelsea now on a 5 year contract according to L'Equipe

That's not what the article says at all
I stand corrected, but Chelsea have agreed terms with him and seem the most likely apparently..except we're not completely out of the running..not yet.
Why do we keep assuming that if we're not first choice then he based his decision on money? News flash, we are biased, there are other options than us than doesn't necessarily have to be money motivated.
Wouldn't surprise me, a footballer moving for money, happens every year and every year we just can't help but hope that one will make a decision based on football.
lol finally this madness can end. Delighted, do not want.

ahemm...if this is true he's just signed for the Champions League winners.
They came 6th in the PL and have just releasef their best player, they have no manager. According to all reports Chelsea were willing to offer much more than us or City.
You do the math.
Di Matteo hasn't been sack aye? If everything else, there is John Terry
They are still a big club, their 6th position is misguiding since they evidently were good enough to win CL. .
So were Liverpool.
What does "good enough" even mean.
Greece were good enough to win the euros too.
Make no mistake, if he moves to Chelsea he's being offered more $$$$.
Hazard if he comes will either play upfront with Rooney or on the left wing.
I don't believe a word either, but always believed that if one club offers much higher wages then he'll pick that club, the past few seasons have shown us that money talks.
According to most reports, Chelsea are willing to pay much more than us or City, that has to make them favourites.
I agree. Their CL win was hardly Barcelona-esque. It will be the money. Why does no one want to move to a club they love any more? It's not like we will be offering peanuts
Dimitar Berbatov begs to differ..![]()
