I think it's based on the 50:50 result and then they've used an algorithm to determine the expected for each area based on a few different factors such as level of qualifications, support for UKIP etc.

Yeah, was largely just a feeling I had. I've genuinely not been given one piece of referendum information that wasn't posted, and have hardly talked about it with anyone to the point I'd forgotten it was so close.
I don't think a single question has been answered with a response that I've felt comfortable with.
I'm currently planning on leaving the country.
The exact same point could be made about many of the people who supported Remain. With more accuracy, IMO.
