EU Referendum Results Thread | Leave have won, Cameron resigns

How did you vote to this: Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the EU or leave the EU?

  • Remain a member of the European Union

    Votes: 321 75.5%
  • Leave the European Union

    Votes: 80 18.8%
  • Spoiled ballot

    Votes: 24 5.6%

  • Total voters
    425
  • Poll closed .
All voting can have long term impacts so do you always ban voting for older voters? What other rights should be taken away from them?

The older generation have already fecked over the younger generation with plenty. Leaving Europe and losing tons of jobs will be another great achievement for them.

Congratulations on being right.
I know! fecking social phobia. It's bloody hard to be opinionated when you're scare of people remembering you exist.

How intelligent and informed you must be. That one article you read in the Indie on why Britain can't be compared to Switzerland totally justifies your sneering attitude.
More intelligent than people that can't form their own opnions by doing some research or thinking for themselves who feel the need to share some irrelevant bullshit photo instead of thinking for themselves

I assume you have shared such nonsense since you've taken this so hard, good for you

surely we cant have the future of country partially decided on the weather.....

It wasn't so much 'it was raining'. It was 'there was literal flooding'.

Whoever wins there'll be a legal challenge because of what happened in London.

All the 'leave are doing better than expected' talk on the BBC - how much of that is better than the projected 52:48, or a modelled 50:50 vote?

I think it's based on the 50:50 result and then they've used an algorithm to determine the expected for each area based on a few different factors such as level of qualifications, support for UKIP etc.

You specifically picked one that's been used completely untruthfully as propaganda. If you knew why Switzerland was successful you wouldn't have included it.

I didn't pick one. I picked three...to illustrate the diversity of every developed country that isn't in the EU. The point is that we don't need to be compared to any one country.

Shite, this is starting to look bad :(

Thanks for posting result earlier RD, just posting numbers themselves

Scotland turnout just is not good enough. @Cheesy 's observation about interest in the ref looking on the mark.

Yeah, was largely just a feeling I had. I've genuinely not been given one piece of referendum information that wasn't posted, and have hardly talked about it with anyone to the point I'd forgotten it was so close.

The exact same point could be made about many of the people who supported Remain. With more accuracy, IMO.

You included something blatantly false in your post. No matter how much you try to back away from it. You included blatant propaganda in it. I thought you were more intelligent than falling for that.

I'm currently planning on leaving the country.
