Euro 2016 qualifiers

Reus cried while being treated. That will take longer. I just hope to god that Mkhitaryan returns fit from his game, otherwise there will be no easing in for Kagawa with us and he needs to perform from the start. CL is in a week and a half. I´m so fed up with the qualifiers and especially their timing right now. With Löw aswell. Why does a player, who has yet to finish a complete game for his club after returning from injury, have to play two full games in a matter of four days?

When is Kuba due back? He didn't play for us either.

Could get some minutes vs. Freiburg next weekend. Will take some time to get into true match shape, though.

If Reus and Mkhitaryan both are out injured, our personell for the offensive midfield will get really tight. Its just unbelievable. You invest 50 Mil. € into the squad and then get screwed over with injuries. And all that because of these fecking stupid International games right before the CL games.

Ouch, fingers crossed for speedy-recoveries then.

Cheers.

Well, appearantly the substitution of Mkhitaryan was more a safety measure than from actual injury. Just losing Reus would hurt us without a doubt, but compensating him would still be doable. Maybe even a chance for Kagawa to start as CAM for us and claim that position. Half full glasses and all that.....

United of course. He ain't gonna end up at Bayern I'm pretty sure. He has too much respect for Dortmund to make that move imo that is if he gets a comparable offer from a club in Spain or England I'm pretty sure he will chose this option over Bayern.

Sorry plenty of supporters of other clubs on here so I didn't want to assume.

Ya that's what I'm hoping will be the case. He has stronger ties with Bayern than Gotze or Lewandowski did.

Nothing to be sorry about. Considering that I'm German there would have been a good chance that I support Bayern or another club over United.

Considering Reus options for next summer I just hope we can keep up with the offers that the likes of Real are probably throwing at him. But considering that we managed to acquire Di Maria I'm actually quite positive that if LvG really wants we might actually be the most attractive option for him.

If we have CL football I would actually fancy our chances of signing him. Fingers crossed. He would be an amazing signing.

Realised you're Icelandic, which explains it! I don't think I've ever been 'excited' about a qualifying campaign for England, and this 24 country format makes the process even more ridiculous. Meaningless games on top of meaningless games for the next 20 months.
I'm also glad I get to watch other countries this time. Hasn't been available before. I can watch all of Denmark's games and many other countries that I don't usually watch besides a few times maybe every 2-4 years. Comes at a refreshing time since the European club competitions don't appeal to me at all this season.

I watched the Denmark-Armenia game. Mkhitaryan was great. Hard to call Armenia a team, it was all one man. The way he came off, seemed to me like it wasn't anything serious. He had given it all, was all over the pitch and moments before Schmeichel got him hard which was probably why he was a but niggled. I'd be surprised if he wouldn't be able to make the next game.

 at Rooney saying Sterling can be as good as Overmars  .... He's already the best player in the team and he's better as a CAM.

How is Bento still in a job? They were atrocious at the WC really and he really doesn't seem to have a clue.

It's a little comforting to know that Portugal are a worse 'big' team than England.

What's funny?. William Carvalho ,Carlos Mane,Joao Mario, Tobias, Daniel Podence , Gelson Martins,Iuri Medeiros, Bernardo Silva , Joao Teixeira, Cavaleiro( even tho don't rate him much ) Andre gomes , Ruben Neves , Goncalo Pacienca, Ricardo Esgaio , Paulo Oliveira, Joao Paulinha , Marcos Lopes, Bruma , Bruno Fernandes , Ricardo Horta , Anthony Lopes etc ......There is a bunch of very young and exciting Portuguese players coming through most of the players above are very talented and have a lot of potential Portugal has a really good crop of youngsters coming through they just need a chance these kids have a lot of quality and it will be very interesting to see how they progress.

Was actually rooting for Albania. I can´t support a national team managed by Paulo Bento and run by Mendes. Can´t remember being this indiferent to our national team. I honestly didn´t care. Hard times approaching i think. I don´t really see any standout players coming up in crucial in demand positions.

Reckon England will get beat tonight, really hope they don't though.

What a pointless qualifying campaign. Everyone half decent will be getting through.

I dunno, we (Wales) are massively looking forward to this because we have a decent chance to qualify for something for the first time in nearly 60 years, it's massive.

I think we can get 3rd in the group and into a playoff. Bosnia and Belgium are simply better than us and will qualify but I think we can finish above Israel, Cyprus and Andorra. Andorra tomorrow and we simply must beat them, otherwise it's all over after 1 game. Hopefully Bale can beat them on his own.

You gotta be kidding me. Why the feck do we need to play International matches at this stage of the season?
There needs to be a break between the CL playoffs and the group stage, so they stuck it there

I really despise the usual England cliche arguments and excuses. Why is it that every time we lose, it's because we didn't have a "little bit of luck on our side", or, "If a few of those deflections went in we'd be calling it a good game". Everything is down to coincidence, happenstance, chance. It's never about quality nullifying elements of luck. I've always hated luck-based arguments.
