Euro 2016 qualifiers

Belgium with all their players look clueless going forward far too often. Can only be down to their manager. Same issues as during the world cup. They relied on a shocking mistake by Begovic vs Bosnia to get a point out of that game too.

We should buy him back from Cardiff:drool:

I certainly wouldn't mind seeing him back here, though for his development he might prefer a team that'll play him more regularly.

Anyway, he was taken off before the 60th minute, despite being our main man in fashioning chances. Norway went on to win against a toothless Azerbadjan, 3 wins on the trot for Norway :)

Wilmots was too late with that Januzaj sub, he's moved the game forward for Belgium. Hazard is so fecking pointless at times, it's baffling how much idiotic, unnecessary dribbling he does instead of releasing the ball.

I didn't see the game but it looks like Fellaini nearly decapitated Allen

I really think Robben deserves ballon d or this year, scores all the crucial goals in big games for club and country, both at world cup, and in CL, Ronaldo scores tons of goals, but hes never done it consistently on the biggest stages

Robben on current form of last 2 years has been standout player for me, Ronaldo second, and Messi 3rd (been unlucky with injuries)

Wales played very well as a team. A bit lucky maybe with the shot on the post and the situation in the last minute, but the draw is well deserved in the end.

I agree with the people pointing at our manager. Wilmots did a great job getting the group to play as a team, to create a great team atmosphere, but tactically, he seems to be out of his depth at this level in my opinion. I think it's time to move onto another manager, but I doubt that it's going to happen before 2016.

I like Robben but it has to be Ronaldo's this year. He tore Bayern apart in the semi finals of the UCL also scored in the final, so it's a bit naive to say he doesn't do it on the biggest stage.

That doesn't look intentional for me at all. If there was any other player who isn't midget nobody would say a word.

He's an absolute disgrace
I dunno... Doesn't look that bad in real time imo. If Allen wasn't so short then Fellaini would have won the ball and gone to shoulder to shoulder with him. His elbows aren't exactly raised unnaturally high there. You don't play with your arms by your side.

Well, let him try that against Arsenal and he will be looking at a long ban.

Saw this incident while watching the match and I knew that his thread would get bumped.

They've basically bumped into each other going for the ball, Fellaini got it, Allen's at height of his forearm and he gets hit with it, nose bleeding, thankfully tamed minute later. Not sure if ref's given a foul on Allen there.

You may be right, but I don't think he should be and I haven't liked the way refereeing has been going for a while. The game is getting too soft as far as I'm concerned.

Indeed. Looks more like a case of Allen running into Fellaini's elbow than the other way around.

Was not intentional if you ever played football when 2 players are running for ball, your arms always come up in anticipation for inevitable collision, due to Fellaini`s height unfortunately his elbow is usually level with other players faces haha

Your arms come up to fend him off not to smack him in the mush (unless you're a coont)

The Czechs play some good football. So far, not good enough. We scored after 9 minutes. Aron Einar's first throw-in in about a year after his dislocated shoulder. Cech came out but Kolbeinn beat him in the air.

Hopefully if we do lose this, then susic will get sacked... Would be our only hope of qualifying from a group we really should be getting second in.
