They are not going to win it. The Spanish clubs have an unbelievable record in all European competitions in recent years and Liverpool cannot win it without playing at least one Spanish side.

Coming back from the dead like that was seriously impressive. It's amazing what a good manager can achieve in terms of team spirit - it's essentially the same set of players that were getting routinely thrashed under Rodgers. I still don't get how a club that has been also rans for 30 years can attract a better manager than we seem able to....

That is a bold statement for a team that was in relegation trouble last season and is in the Europa League this season. Bayern, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, City, PSG, Juventus are probably better teams right now... The Dortmund of two years ago was amongst the top 5 in Europe
