Everton vs. Man United

The back line doesn't look very solid IMO, but that front line if on from looks very good. You'd wonder if Nani and Evans are sharp enough for this game though.

 probably should have been less overdramatic and just say he was really poor. His performance in the second leg was that frustrating to watch. I think if he had been average, we would have gone through. So, it is not so far from the truth, if you take Moyes out of the equation.

Keen to see how Smalling & Evans perform, Lukaku will be a tough test. Front 4 is very exciting, hopefully they are able to link up and create plenty of chances.

...Was one of the kid mascots wearing a City shirt?

Evra looks happy.

He never mentioned 200m, did he? Mind you we are so devoid of class in CM we not two top players in there, and when a promising LB is 30m you're looking at around 100m for 4 players in the positions you mentioned.

Not 200m, but the list you mentioned above would cost ~ 100m surely

He did say that we are 4-5 world class players off competing for the CL and also talked about an ageing squad so you would think if he genuinely believed that, he was probably figuring it was a rebuilding job in that region of money.

I can imagine that we'd have to splash out for at least one CM to be fair. In my view that £27.5m that Fellaini cost was spent on the wrong player and we could well already have a quality CM for £5-10m on top of that. We only need a back up CB/RB and spending £30m etc on Shaw is one of the most stupid ideas I've heard. We could easily find a competent LB for half the price, we only need a LB who was defensively solid to massively improve us given how shaky Buttner/Evra can be. One marquee signing would suffice IMO.

Why would you include a guy who has barely played all year and has a major back problem?

It was a joke. Should Klopp be interested though, I would just give Klopp the money and let him do as he wants with it. He might strike a deal with Dortmund chiefs.

Did Moyes say that we have an outside chance of getting 4th even though the Arsenal result today went against us?!

Best away record yes, but we've not beaten anyone of note away.

Technically we don't have the best away record anymore, Liverpool do. If we beat Everton then we're back top of that table.

Can anyone PM me an HD Stream, ideally on AceStream? My usual source doesn't seem to have the game :(

"Two youth products start and three on bench…3,696 consecutive first team games since October 1937 with a youth player in squad"

Just seen this on twitter.

Very good squad, the smug Scot has learned.

Agreed re Shaw. Absolute madness to pay anywhere near that.

Nani is so much better than Valencia at running at the defense.

I love Nani. Lots.

You think? I thought it was a good starting point for negotiations.

Or do you mean insulting to Moyes and not Dortmund?

I was kidding mate, referring to how Everton rejected the joint bid for Fellaini and Baines.

Think we'd definitely benefit from the signings you've mentioned.
