Evra accuses Suarez of racist remarks | Suarez guilty of racial abuse

His goal celebration was a bit wierd. I noticed him kissing the skin on his hand. Sending some kind of msg or what???
Dont be silly now.
Probably had a tattoo or some bracelet. Nothing to do with the 'skin' in that sense.

Luis Suarez @luis16suarez

We lost and we are sad because we have made a big effort... Disappointed because everything is not that it seems...

Now this is just stupid - the guy has twitter and knows people are reading it. If indeed it was a misundertanding that he thought Evra didn't want to shake his hand so didn't, then why doesn't he tweet something along the lines of how he wanted to shake the hand but it all came out wrong and he'd like to apologise?

Simple! I'm sick of this saga to be honest.

He always does that, think he's got a tattoo of something there.

There you go

I see the majority of Liverpool fans have decided that it was in fact Evra who didn't shake hands. Terrific.

My Mate at work is a Liverpool fan and he did on the bandwagon that evra dropped his hand slightly to make Suarez think he (evra) didn't want to shake, causing Suarez to move on and then evra grabbed him.

If true then credit to evra for playing them like puppets.

The Suarez/Evra case will be more hilarious if Suarez leaves them this summer and they start burning his shirts claiming he's a racist anyway.

And that's exactly what we can all expect.

I'm currently sat on a train to London for a night out, having been at the game. There are a table of cockney Liverpool fans on the table behind my chair. Having watched everything back on ESPN app, ALL four are convinced that Evra was in the wrong, he tried to stoke the fire by grabbing Suarez's arm and that none of this would have ever happened if Evra wasn't such a "little bitch".

Not that this should mean anything, but they are all of a minority as well. It just stuns me that Liverpool and Dalglish have genuinely brainwashed 1000s of people who in real life, are perfectly sane people.

I really, really want to stand up and chip into their conversation. Tell them what shite they are spouting. But it feels like they're too far gone.

To be fair, there would have been nothing wrong with Rio not shaking hands with Suarez even if it were premeditated. I don't think I would shake the hand of someone who said what he did to my team mate.

As for Suarez, I have never disliked a footballer this way before. He could have diffused the tension at the start but you can see his lack of class in everything he does on the football pitch.

It's amazing how many times this poor fella is misunderstood.

Now that's just nonsense.

Liverpool don't have OOT supporters. It's only United's glory-seeking fans who have that honour.

I saw that but that account has 5-6k followers. Blatantly a fake.

Was it tweeted? Or is someone quoting him?

Edit: Just found the account. That seems like someone British to me.

It was tweeted. Balotelli doesn't have Twitter though, but if he did, he'd have much more followers.

How do you stand legally when someone is using your name for something inflammatory like that?

It's quite an achievement that Suarez has managed to be the biggest twat in a team containing Craig Bellamy.

He could just get a team mate to confirm he doesn't have Twitter I suppose, which would put it to bed.

It wouldn't though. There will always be people who believe it.

I think he will be off. Spain or Italy. We don't understand him over here. Poor soul:rolleyes:

And these people are probably a bit simple. Fake accounts that get prolific followings are caught out eventually and it has never been a problem, as far as I'm aware.

And what's their justification for that?

That it wasn't racist in the first place (the old translation bollocks argument), Evra milked it and lied, and the whole situation unrolled from there with Liverpool being persecuted at every step.
