Evra accuses Suarez of racist remarks | Suarez guilty of racial abuse

Eyepopper Boss and Agent Red: Do you NOT fecking believe that most of our travelling fans (who is fecking mint) dont regret singing murderers today??? If the fecking cnut said it on numerous occasions he should feck off though, I didn´t know that

Not sure exactly what your question is Magnus? If someone did such a thing, regretted it, and then didn't repeat their behaviour, then obviously that's the best you could hope for really after the initial action. If they repeat the behaviour though, whether it's a racist remark or singing about a tragedy, I would think they were a bit of a twat.

Calling someone a baldy twat in the heat of the moment shows nothing more than you are a bit shit at arguing.

Racially abusing someone shows that you at some level think their race is an issue that can be used in the negative, therefore implying some degree of racism.

In both cases the commonality is idiocy.
I cant argue with this but still I think that you may say idiotic things (or sing) in the heat of a moment.

Indeed I am. And you're a power-hungry t***.

So we're in agreement then?

If you've nothing more to contribute to a debate than the posting equivalent of running into a room naked and screaming 'hey everybody, look, look, its meeeeeeee....', its probably best not to post.

Either way, you're starting to bore me.

Erm, no. It's basically the same thing, except abusing bald people doesn't have the stigma associated with it that racism does.

Bald people don't have a history of being oppressed as a group that goes with the territory of race, obviously. Nor is cultural identity and association based on your lack of hair.

Is the prevalence of the word without any negative connotations not progress in a weird way?

Anyway, who cares..... this thread has turned to shit.

Maybe so, but at the same time negative connotations are thrown in there depending on the situation, as well as the context of the conversation. That's why I said it's still convoluted. However, I don't think it's as bad as it used to be. The more it gets used the less people become arsed about it.

In America, it's more about if the problem is in my backyard I'll do something. Until then, it's not their problem.

You know, I don't really give a feck. You've never been of interest to me either.

Its not the same. Have bald people ever been oppressed and abused based on being bald? :wenger:

Well, I dont really know what I´m on about either. Just saying that sometimes you do things that you dont really mean. Sorry if I came about as a twat I am 100 % not racist but I have said and done things in the past that I´m not proud of.

I don't know if you're making that point specifically in relation to yourself or your friends, but I really don't think 'heat of the moment' can justify these kinds of things. When City or 'Pool sing about Munich, I don't class that as rivalry banter but as repulsive idiocy. I'm embarrassed whenever our fans do anything of this nature.

Being riled up or part of a crowd isn't an excuse, that's up there with the old 'I was only doing as I was told' excuse. If you know something is wrong and wouldn't normally do it as an individual, you shouldn't go along with it just because some others are or you've had a drink, in my opinion.

You know what Saliph, I cant be arsed, go attention whore somewhere else.

No, no, it was a genuine question. I just wasn't sure exactly what you were asking, I wasn't implying you are a racist.

Of course we all do and say things that are out of order and make us seem like twats, the main issue is how you deal with it after. Repeating that behaviour shows that you didn't really think it was wrong and implies that you are a bit of a twat, and is much worse than having done or said something in 'the heat of the moment'.

I don't think many people would take issue with someone having done or said something they're not proud of, as none of us are infallible, but if that behaviour is repeated or there is an attempt to justify it, that changes the context entirely.

Oh and Popps, you're a baldy twat.

There, I said it. Heat of the moment and all that.

Why can't we all just get along?

Spoonys on the roids, he only has 2 modes, horny or angry...

Anyway, yeah, Suarez, bit of a cnut, well bigger bit of a cnut than we already knew eh... (allegedly of course ;))

I never even noticed him, today or any other day. But why not let people make there own minds up?

So you've never noticed him, yet him getting a 2 day ban for attention whoring is 'why the caf has declined'?

This is why the caf has declined...

Now, Suarez.... etc

I'm sorry but why would anyone believe diving, play acting, biting, handballing Suarez in this argument? The match is over, Evra has nothing to gain by lying...nothing at all. Given these details have only come out tonight it's fair to say the interview wasn't heat of the moment after the game?

Everyone knows Suarez is guilty as sin....unless there is actual proof...

and the cnut has a great defence.....

...his teeth.

Magnus, did you delete your most recent post? I wasn't meaning in any way to imply that I haven't done bad things or things as part of a crowd, the only point I was trying to make is that when I have done things like that, I can't justify it by saying that everyone else was doing it too. If I look back and think it was wrong, I probably shouldn't have done it, and would try never to repeat it.

I completely understand how easy it is to get caught up doing something wrong and I'm sure we've all been in that situation, particularly when there is an atavistic atmosphere, like at a football match. I wasn't meaning to condemn people, but I do think there is a distinction between someone who does something bad, and someone who repeatedly does something bad, or tries to justify the initial actions.
