Evra accuses Suarez of racist remarks | Suarez guilty of racial abuse

Fergie was as much to blame for what happened today. Always liked Giles, but can't be having that.

Nah, feck that. Complete bullshit from him. Fergie had the least part in it out of most people! Kept so unbelievable calm, classy and respectful throughout the whole thing.

also, nice back page from the Star, lol.

Is this a genuine comment from Keane?

Keane: "If I was playing, if Incey was playing, if Sparky was playing: Suarez ends the game wishing he'd shaken hands."

Great back page title on The Star. Shame about the headline on Tevez possibly playing again for City though. Seems Mancini has got little option but to do that given Tevez isn't going anywhere.

Where did you see that?

The Liverpool edition probably has 'Evra tries to break Suarez's Arm' as the headline.

feck it, if Liverpool fans are allowed to have imaginary conversations with United fans, then we are allowed to pretend Roy Keane said that.

I'm having one now, in fact:

LFC Fan: Wow, Steve, you're much better-looking than in your Caf photo, in which you had a face like a dog's bum with a hat on!

Me: Why, thank you kindly, Andy. By the way, your manager's a looney & your team is crap.

LFC Fan: You're quite right - we're as boring as your books.

Me: Touché.

Just seen this on Twitter, "@BunnyBabeBecki Who also heard Fergie being racist today aswell? He said times are different than when everybody used to throw banana's at john barnes".

lmfao.

Fergie's right - nowadays, people throw John Barnes at bananas.

What a dumbass. Her own club's fans were amongst those racially abusing him. :wenger:

 You're on fire. Contender for funniest poster come the end of the year if you keep it up.

Head of PFA Gordon Taylor on 5 live now, talking about the whole thing and how they couldn't get Liverpool to come on board and work with them from the start. How they keep claiming no responsibility and how Evra who is the victim in this whole affair has been portrayed as the villain.

Steve's shooting his comedy load too early in the year.

You might be right. Wasn't on the caf at the start of last year but if I remember right (which I probably don't), rimaldo had a quiet start then built it up towards the end of the year.

He was on Sky Sports News earlier too. Wasn't happy with things at all and (rightly) sounded disappointed. Every time I've heard him speak he's tried to act diplomatic and impartial but it seems both Liverpool and Suarez aren't cooperating.

Despite all of what he's saying being music to Fergie's ears, he still sounds like an utter cock.

Looked at the moving gif in the rawk thread......and to be fair to suarez, maybe its not as it seems..that's what i can see anyway.

What i can see is this - Evra is clearly less enthusiastic about shaking Suarez's hand, but extends it any way...but not very sincerely, quite apprehensively, in fact, and also quite low - he's wanting Suarez to make an effort, ie, he wants suarez to actually reach out and grab his hand, probably more gauging Suarez's sincerity rather than anything else...

Suarez, now i don't know if he intended to share Evra's hand or not, could (and this is an assumption i make) be thinking that Evra doesn't really want to shake given Evra's half-hearted gesture, and moves on to De Gea...

Evra, now angry that Suarez didn't make more of an effort to grab his hand for the hand shake, gets angry.

That's how i'm starting to see things anyway. In anycase, i'm tired of this whole saga.

I don't think so.

Did you not before?!

Oh yes, but now even more so. This is the sort of game that has got to us in the past. Now I am not as worried about City. Just a thought about Dalglish's reaction in all this. Maybe he thinks he will earn kudos with the Liverpool fans if he keeps blindly supporting Suarez.

FAO TheReligion and Legend16. I have seen it again this time on MOTD, in real time, and i stand corrected. Yous were right, and my opinion was wrong and formulated off a badly cropped moving gif from RAWK.

So kudos for calling me out on it, but still no need for virtriol on my opinion!

Yup agreed, was just joking around.

Today feels really sweet. Sad in a way because this stuff shouldn't be happening at all in this era, but getting the 3 points for Paddy and having him cheered all day is some solace.

How does she come to that conclusion? Is Fergie referring to something that used to happen, racist?

Has anyone put the silly bint right?

Ive made a nice desktop from this whole thing. You start wars, we end them. Had to be resized to fit my desktop properly!

Skholesy the 'utter bollox' comment was not meant as an attack on you per se but a dismissing of the viewpoint that was growing that suarez was somehow innocent today. which is basically utter bollox
