Luis Suarez racism row: New York Times attack Liverpool owners over striker's conduct - News - MirrorFootball.co.uk
Think this may have had something to do with Suarez's sudden and unexpected apology?
As I said in another thread last night; pressure from America would force the owners hands. This is very likely what happened, especially after Daglish and Suarez clearly had another view of the incident last night.
Call me a cynic, but I don't believe for one second that that apology is in any way Suarez' view on this. If he was truly sorry of this, surely he's not so stupid he wouldn't have realised the consequences of not shaking Evra's hand before choosing not to do it. He fully well knew it would cause a media storm and he didn't care a single bit, because in his mind he still hasn't done anything wrong. I really believe that this apology is directly from the owners and that Suarez was pretty much forced to put his name on it, if he wants to stay at Liverpool.
