Fantasy Premier League 18/19

Feel like I got a good squad, but I've subbed waaay to much this year instead of just wildcarding. Hopefully it'll benefit me later:

Thoughts? My plan is probably to get a defender in from Liverpool and maybe hold back on getting Mané until I see if they hit form again. Seems like safe-points with their programme, so might go a bit more block-defence on Liverpool to have a risky edge there. Not having Kane is a bit risky I feel.
I presume you mean made too many transfers rather than subs. Subs come off your bench for non-players.

So after being sarky I'd best say something else. Nothing wrong with the team, save any transfer to the last minute in case of late news, and if you have two then look at your subs and see if you can improve there.

Tempted to wildcard to bring Salah in for Mane, as well as De Bruyne and Mendy.

Would downgrade Lacazette to bank the 0.1 price rise as don’t think his conversion rate is sustainable. Not sure whether to hit the button.

If Mane wasn’t injured I’d leave it.

Please help:

Ederson, Mane, Fraser & Lacazette

or

Patricio, Mane, Sterling & Ings

Patricio makes sense I think, while he's bringing in as many points as anyone. You're basically choosing between Lacazette and Sterling. Both are in form so flip a coin. Sterling is probably safer longer term though. Basically a set and forget.

Locked this team in. Hoping Mane isn’t out for long.

——-————-Ederson
—-Doherty - Robertson - Alonso
Mane - Hazard - Maddison - Richarlison
—--Aguero - Mitrovic - Lacazette

Wan-Bissaka first sub.

Tempted to wildcard myself but think the best time is in two weeks, where fixtures for Leicester, Brighton, Newcastle are good and topteams have mixed fixtures. Id then be able to see the form of Mane, Salah and KDB + Sterling, Aguero too. Possibly Vardy and see if some players start to perform from Brighton, Newcastle and Leicester.

I think its the best to use the wildcard when other fantasy teams might want to sub out a lot too. Would make my team set for a lot of games and have a strong bench for the tough weeks

Hey Guys

Schurrle vs Cardiff and Bournemouth or:

Fraser vs Southampton and Fulham.

Who do you reckon will get more points? It's only for 2 weeks. Fraser has had a great season but a few of my friends have him, and Schurrle is a differential who could have fun with these fixtures.

As i said it's only for 2 weeks.

Please let me know.

Frazer would be the safer pick, Bournemouth score more goals than Fulham despite them being shared around the squad. However wait until today's press conferences as he is apparently carrying a knock

Mane/Murray > KDB/Lacazette for free after this GW? Got nearly £3m banked.

Ederson
Alonso Trippier Robertson
Haz Mane Maddison Fraser
Aguero Murray Wilson

AWB, Bennett, Guendouzi benched.

Also thinking Trippier > Maguire for Leicester’s nice run after this weekends game against Arsenal.

Hey guys.
Firstly, my team atm shapes up as follows:

Hennessey
Alonso - TAA - Wan Bissaka
Seri - Hazard - Fraser - Maddison
Lacazette - Wilson - Kane
Subs: Shaw - Pogba - Peireira (Leicester)

FT was Neves -> Maddison pre International break because of value.

The thing now is, I am contemplating benching Hazard for our game, as Mou managed to keep him relatively quiet in recent matches. Sure, he's on fire atm, but I also think Jose will try to stifle him first and foremost, using Herrera and maybe someone else on top. In this case I am not entirely sure who should score reliably for Chelsea, which would open up the possibility to bring Shaw maybe?

Thoughts?

Salah in for Mane last night before the drop. I think I slightly favour Aguero for the armband this week but it's a no brainer for Salah the week after.

Expecting another strong week points wise with most of my squad having great fixtures.

Yeah I'll be moving him on soon. Plan was always to get Mendy back though and I'm a bit short on City at the moment.

My thoughts are it would be crazy to bench the most in form player in the league against a team with one of the worst defensive records but it's up to you.

I can easily now do this:

Ederson, Salah and Lucas out and bring in Patricio, Mane and Sterling.

Not sure why I'm reluctant to pull the trigger though.

Mane's injured so maybe after this GW?

God I hope Pep gives Sterling some well deserved rest, missed that train in my mini-league.

Because deep down you know it's not a good idea? You're already taking a hit by doing that. Ederson looks like the best chance of a clean sheet this week, Salah has been pictured in training and Mane hasn't and you know that Sterling could easily be on the bench come Saturday.

If it's just for Sterling why not take a one week punt and dump Salah for him? Then get a Liverpool attacker in for the home game against Cardiff when you've got more info.

Hi guys, anyone knows for sure if Salah will/won't be fit this weekend?

Still have him on my team, though I'm not sure what I should do..

Cheers!

He trained yesterday, while Mane missed out. Wait for the presser, should begin in 20 mins.

Good thinking. Might just hold tight.

It could well happen once KdB gets back into the team, Sterling will join the merry go round of rotation that Pep loves so much!

Hoping KdB gets involved straight away as I just did a 4 week loan deal with someone in my Draft for Salah!

Salah in for Mane last night before the drop.

Yeah was toying with that myself but didn’t even up hitting the button as would have been on wildcard.

I’m going to see how Salah does this week, if he blanks he’ll drop again in value and I’ll probably pick him up prior to GW10 as he looks a stand out captaincy option. I’m also hesitant to sell Mane before hearing more, think he offers excellent value (I got him at 9.5m) and Pool’s fixtures are brilliant moving forward.

Klopper now said that VVD, Mane and Salah should be all ready to feature tomorrow, guess they use the same doctor as Pep now.

Form over fixtures!

My team is going to sink like a stone this week, I can just feel it. Refusing to make any transfers though. I'll have 2FT for next week, will get KDB in.

KDB or Sterling when both are fully fit?

Sterling surely more attacking returns, but KDB is cheaper and raked points in last season.

Yeah Sterling will score more over the season hence the price difference. He plays like a poacher in that City side.

I can do

Hazard Richarlison Mane KDB

Or

Hazard Richarlison Sterling Someone 8.1 or under

Tough choice. Not that sold on keeping Mane. Some really high returns early on but nothing lately. Although their fixtures have been tough, they're not in great form.

This will be after this gw.

Tough one that. I really would hate to go without a Liverpool attacker with the run they have now though.

Mitrovic is done for I think. I'd get Wilson or King over him.

Yeah I thought having Mane would be enough but chances are he will miss out tomorrow. I'm sticking though. Don't want to keep taking hits, I'll just roll with the punches.

I want to keep him as he has Cardiff and Huddersfield in the next 3 games, who are useless. I’ve my eye on Arnautovic after that as his fixtures are good.
Bournemouth have Southampton(h) and Fulham(a), Fulham play open and Southampton are struggling. While Cardiff and Huddersfield look weak, both are defensive sides. Anyhoo you should go with your gut feeling as I have both Wilson and Mitrovic :)

Got no Man City this week which might be madness, but it'd be equally mad to fire up the wildcard this late on!

Have Kane, Salah, Jiminez, Hazard, Richarlison, as well as Robertson-Alonson in defence. No reason some of them can't haul.

Annoyingly I removed Wilson for Mitrovic about 3 weeks ago, and threw away points in the process, so I’m being stubborn and sticking with Mitrovic in the hope that he repays me.
