Fantasy Premier League 18/19

My team now is
Ederson
Robertson, Alonso, Bennet, Alexander-Arnold
Moutinho, Richardlison, Hazard
Zaha, Vardy, Aguero

Bench : Homer, Hughes, Lennon, Wan-Bissaka

Who would you guys make captain this round? Its between Vardy and Hazard IMO.
Got 3,6 in the bank and thinking about upgrading Hughes or Lennon into Martial maybe. Any tips?

Hughes is at home to Huddersfield. Why would you bench him for that?
 
took -8 points hit to brought in Patricio, Richarlison and Lacazete and they did feck all. I hate this game.
 
First time I went below average this season with 37 points and down to 59k, hope it was just one of those weeks. Apart from having no Arsenal players and no Robertson, I've no idea how to Improve my squad.

Yeah that's a good squad. No need to do anything.

I think I'm gonna sit on my transfer this week too. Being a lot more patient this season seems to be paying off. Only transfers I might consider are Trippier to someone else but It'd ideally be for Mendy and with those two playing each other this weekend it's 50/50 if that would be a good decision. Other one to move is Knockaert who I only got in a few weeks back so I'll give him another shout this weekend and see if he's benched again.

Double Liverpool defence is tempting me at the moment too. Lovren is a bit of a bps magnet. Maximum 3 from the last 2 league games. Only £4.9m and I assume he's the preferred option at CB with Van Djik.
 
Took out Walcott and Aguero and brought in Vardy and Salah.

Agueros been racking up the points but I just find it frustrating that he rarely gets 3bps and wont get past 60 odd minutes. City have so much talent that they need to keep everyone fresh and happy and Im gonna punt that he doesn't hit double figures. I have Robertson, TAA, Mendy, Aguero, WBisacka. I will probably get rid of Trent for Lovren I don't want to take a hit as I'm playing catch up in my league and Zaha will probably go for Arnie.

It's the obvious choice though, Aubu has been subbed twice and come on at 60+ minutes. Doesn't justify the price tag for someone who is not starting. Just a bitter pill to swallow.

Lacazette had great stats last night and should have scored last night.
 
So glad Lacazette did nothing yesterday. I'm going to add him in my team for Kane this week to free up some cash.

Defo worth getting Salah in at some point. But haven't got the funds.
 
Mate in my mini league transferred out Auba for Laca at half time of the Fulham game last week because he was on the bench. :lol:

But yeah I don't understand why Emery doesn't just start them both. They're clearly better for it. Auba running at tired legs I guess...

Auba is going in soon, his goal scoring record is brilliant. He's a better player than Lac for me.

Absolute ace up their sleeve, if Aubu is happy doing it I don't see why they would stop. Nightmare to defend against and set your team up defensively.
 
My mind is pretty made up with my 2 FT's, happy with the rest of my team for another week or 2.

Gaah! I know you're right. Will keep on the eye on the price as I have the exact money to do it at the moment. I've got no City defensive coverage at the minute either.

Same here. I will keep an eye on his price movement before I take any action. I anyway have Laporte, so I still have a shoe in with the City defense and don't really want to use a transfer especially when they have a difficult match next GW.

They have 6 days until Tottenham, I think we should be ok. Surely the Pep Guardiola is my idol won't bench Mendy again after the way he is playing.

It's the Pep Guardiola is my idol we are dealing with. He dropped Walker + Mahrez to play Bilva as RWB. We can never be 100% sure with him.
 
Hazard on 75% - back injury. Nooo.

Him being out doesn't matter because everyone has him now.

Deciding what to do with him won't be easy though. Change him, hope other don't and potentially have a nice differential? Fecked if he plays then though.

Think he will be fine. Haven't heard any reports on the injury being serious really.
 
Went down a totally different route than planned. I've taken Mane out for Salah. He looked sharper tonight and Liverpool have no tough runs now.

Need to ship the Bournemouth lads. No major rush with Fulham this weekend but after that they need to go.

Got 1 FT and £3.5m banked. Might do Fraser > D.Silva or Wilson > Lacazette. Happy to keep one Bournemouth player but not sure which one.

If you have just spent all that £ to get Salah, you have to captain him.

It's a minimum 2 transfers for me to get him back but I'm not 100% convinced. He scored a pen which Milner would have normally taken. If Mane hadn't missed his penalty and they both scored a brace, would you have still done the swap?

I had the cash spare anyway. Don't think I have to captain him just because he cost more. I'll weigh it up week by week and if he's shite in a month's time I'll reconsider altogether. It's not so much because of the brace but because he looked more composed from what I saw of the game, and Mane's done feck all for ages. At the moment it's not causing any bother having him there. 0.5 in the bank with a potential for more if I go for Jiminez.

Fair enough, I suppose you have to weigh up whether it's worth the risk ( if you can even call it that?). I couldn't call who is going to score more out of Hazard or Salah with their fixtures - probably score similar but you get the added bonus of captaining a player with a lot less % owned.

This game is hard :lol: you really have to time your moves well
 
Salah's stats have been solid all season less the goals, i think hes going to start delivering again, with Hazards potential injury I've transferred him out and Salah back in at least for this week, i can shuffle two people round to get Hazard back in the week after as Chelsea's next few fixtures arent that bad.
 
Read in the paper today that hazard wasn’t going to play.
If that is true think I might have to get Salah although already have mane.

I don't think its too much considering pool fixtures, though they got Arsenal in between.
 
I plan on keeping Hazard all season, absolute beast for FPL. I got him at 10.6 so would be mad to transfer out for one week.

Interesting to actually look at his points over the last 5 years

The 200+ mark must be up there with the best scoring midfielders of the year.

Yep and he is course to smash his personal best. If he can stay fit, I don't see any reason to doubt him getting 250+ this season.
