Fantasy Premier League 18/19

feck it. Mendy in for Trippier. Another season keeper.

Had to do it because I was hovering over transferring in Zabaleta for Bennett then realised that I was about to transfer in a West Ham defender.

Made a massive gamble and transferred in Salah for Hazard. I think Salah is starting to hit form now. Hopefully Hazard is ruled out this weekend and it pays off.

Had a bit of a tumble down the rankings last few weeks after starting strong :(

Any thoughts on changes to this?

Hennessey
Laporte Robertson Luiz
W. Hughes Salah Hazard D.Silva Fraser
Wilson Aguero

Subs: Shaw, Wan Bissaka, Kamara

So tempted to throw in the wildcard, but waiting another week for a clean good run of fixtures and to see how KDB performs. A bit annoying that only Aguero is the only in-form attacker to pick from.

Will probably make me go into a 5-4-1 of good players with Hazard, Mané, David Silva + 1 in midfield. Murray (when back from concussion) could be a decent mid-price attacker with his fixture-list.

Undecided wether to go for Mané in midfield or go with Alisson + 2 Liverpool defenders and go block-defence.

Looks fine apart from the goalkeeper. Who's your reserve?

Thoughts on this wildcard?

Fabianski
Mendy - Robertson - Alonso
Hazard - Salah - Richarlison - Maddison - De Bruyne
Mitrovic - Arnoutovic

Subs; Hamer, Lovren, Wan-Bissaka, Quaner

Also tempted to pack the midfield further and keep Mane - in which case it would be Mane / 5.0m defender vs Maddison / Alonso.

Impressive but stay away from Mitrovic - not in good form. Murray maybe.

Pereira from Leicester a shout too and Deulofeu might be worth a brunch place if you're Looking for width. Kenedy also good fixturelist. Personally I am more David Silva > KDB. Gets on the end of sooo many plays and counters. In great shape.

Id rather have Mane+David Silva instead of Salah+Maddison

Thinking about swapping out Richarlison for Martial. United are at home. How's he looking for starting this weekend? Will he get 90mins like Newcastle?

Cheers @ROFLUTION

I actually really like Mitrovic and he’ll most likely stay in my team all season! I think he’s the clear #9 figurehead of that team and tends to get a lot of chances.

Out of Silva vs KDB I prefer the latter as Silva tends to get rotated more than KDB does. I remember last season KDB tended to play virtually every match, and Pep has come and said that Silva will be rested more now he’s getting older.

Interesting shout on Mane though, I agree he’ll offer great value over the season. I’m tempted to squeeze him in over Maddison and then downgrade Alonso.

I’m 100% taking Salah, it’ll be him and Hazard as my captaincy options over the season I think. Don’t trust Aguero as he tends to play about 60 minutes.

Am I going crazy?
Am subbing out Kane and trippier for ings and holebas.
Just don’t fancy spurs at all this week......

Edit - perhaps a good time for a bench boost?

Richarlison / Knockaert / Hazard / David Silva / Salah

Raul Jimenez / Aguero - sub: Ings

ah yeah I am probably a bit coloured by remembering Mitrovic wasting major chances some seasons ago.. He's developed and should get on the end of some chances.. just been invisible lately.. Personally I like Murray a lot.. But no attackers are in form so when i wildcard I might need a solid benchplayer too

Anyone got the "daily risers" for who's changed in price overnight?

Salah £12.9M
De Bruyne £9.8M
Pereyra £6.3M
Doherty £4.9M

Tons of fallers:
Mkhitaryan £6.8M
Morrison £4.8M
Ralls £4.7M
Kouyaté £4.7M
Meyer £5.6M
Gueye £4.8M
Kongolo £4.3M

@Theon - Success instead of Quaner if you have 0.2 is worth a shout too. Good as a link-up player and counter-attacking last time around Wolves. I see potential.

Considering wild-carding tonight for the next round , but a little afraid of not having two sure captain-options to choose from (Sterling a bit in and out and Mané not yet on a roll)

Fabianski
Holebas - Gomez - Arnold - Alonso - Mendy
Hazard - Mané - Sterling - KDB - Kenedy
Arnautovic - Murray - Success

HELP!!! Been tinkering all morning with my team!

Currently:
Pickford
Mendy-Shaw-Alexander Arnold-Jonny
Mane-Hazard-Neves
Aubameyang-Firmino-Aguero

Subs: Fabianski, AWB, McDonald, Stephens

Need some assuring. Tempted to take out Pickford, Mane and Firmino and bring in Ryan, Salah and Wilson. (I'll move Fabianski into the starting 11)
I just think going into the next 2 home games of Cardiff and Fulham if I don't bring Salah in now then I'll never do it. What do you think, no brainer? Something in the back of my mind is saying don't do it!

TAA isn't in the starting line up according to the past two games.

Hazard might be injured. Bring in Salah, he's hitting form.

Defo don’t bench boost mate. It’s not a good week for it at all and should be saved for the double game weeks.

Yep, he was shocking at Newcastle but he was a young player so maybe to be expected. Plus I don’t think Rafa was the right manager for him. I think he looks really good now, been hitting some international form as well which is always a good sign!

Thanks! Watch Mane and Firmino bag points now whilst Salah does nothing!!!
Have been contemplating using my wildcard for ages- taking out Aubameyang and using the cash to improve the cheaper options in the squad (TAA,Neves etc..) but now he's hitting form think I'll hold off. Think I'll keep TAA for a bit as he's cheap and think he'll win his place back soon enough. Think Klopp is just looking after him a bit after playing quite a bit of football recently. Plus I can't see a direct replacement available in that price range and AWB off the bench to replace him isn't too bad.
Hazard I reckon will play and I can't afford to buy him back as have had him from the beginning! Also worth a gamble of keeping him this week as he should get a decent return against Burnley on recent form.

I don't see Liverpool as the attacking-minded team as it was last season. Maybe the upcoming good fixture-list will change that, but I'm not going all in on Liverpool's attack (Salah) before I see him hit form.

I agree on Arnold. Him + Gomez seems like the better combo against mid-table team when you need to pass the ball around a lot and dominate. Lovren is overrated - Especially by himself

Hmm - really don't know who to captain this weekend (don't have salah).

At the moment it's on hazard but robertson or mane are also strong candidates i think.

Not sure I want to keep Richarlison on this wildcard.

Gonna gamble on Holebas this week I think vs Huddersfield. Tempted to bench Mendy away at Spurs (which could backfire!).

Huddersfield at home looks neat enough the best fixture of the season for a defensive asset, and hoping he might get a assist as he’s on set pieces often.

Anyone getting rid of Aguero?

Not happy with my team. Would like to bring in Maddison & Laca
---------------------Patricio---------------
Robertson-----Mendy----alonso----Holebas
Salah------Richarlison------Hazard
Wilson----Aguero-----Jiminez

Maybe don't? Crap fixture-list, not completely comfortable in his new roles (less shots on goals, according to the latest FFScout article). If you're to have one of Everton's I'd say Sigurdsson is the way to go. All paths in their play leads to him, especially with Bernard introduced on the left - But Everton will probably switch back some time eventually.

I observed Mendy quite a lot against Liverpool and it was very clear he had an assignment of not bombing forward, to not open up space for Salah. Don't know if Pep will use the same approach against Spurs though - all previous fixtures have been full of goals.

Completely agree. I just don’t know who else I’d want around that price bracket - the most tempting thing to me is to go Richarlison > 4.5m and then Quaner > Wilson.
