Fantasy Premier League 18/19

De Gea, Boruc
Mendy, Robertson, Lindelof, Wan-Bissaka, Peltier
Mane, Richarlison, B.Silva, Miki, Stephnes
Firmino, Aguero, Morata

Used my 2 FT to switch from Sanchez + Austin to Miki + Morata.
Want to get rid of De gea and Lindelof, but don't want to waste points, so for now will wait and see what Mou will say in the press conference (whether Lindo will play) and eventually will give them another chance against Spurs.

Yeah I'm keeping him all season long. He'll comfortably get at least 15 goals and 10 assists and I bet he goes above 20 goals.

My dilemma now is whether to keep Bernardo Silva or not but I think I will for a while. The only alternative I am considering currently is Mkhitaryan and I'm not convinced about his return. He's had a good start but it can easily all go downhill for him, his return at United was not good at all and City will be scoring plenty of goals this season so as long as Bernardo is involved in games he's going to rack up points.

De Gea is my another dilemma but I guess we will keep a lot of clean sheets - not sure how many saves he'll get and Lloris is 0.5m cheaper but I won't make that adjustment ahead of Man Utd v Spurs game.

Mendy, Robertson, Alexander-Arnold and Davies is my defence until one of them loses spot (it could only be Alexander-Arnold, the rest will play) or gets injured.

Right now really wish I had Alonso and Ings instead of the two bolded, but can’t now with the price increase of Alonso.. I will probably have to get Bilba out for Mkhi in the next few weeks to get Alonso and Ings in. But I have 0 patience.
 
Torn about Tosun - I thought he would be a 15 a season striker but not sure anymore. I will keep him for five more games though, a target man at an offensive Everton side is worth 7m.

Yeah I’m hoping he bangs in a couple in the next fixtures. I’ll need something to separate me from the rest.

I wish you could play a ridiculous 2-5-3 :( can't decide between Pedro and Ings for this week.

Are people with Pedro sticking with him? Knew he'd start at the beginning of the season with Hazard rested but now debating downgrading to a Kante or alternative 5m midfielder and upgrading Cook to Robertson at the back, would like a Liverpool defender (unfortunately) and Robertson seems to be much more involved going forward than TAA.

Half of the league that I am in have him so that won’t give me advantage but I want to avoid a situation where I drop him and he goes on to score a few in the next two months while my new signing doesn’t.

Yes that is my thinking, he is starting for them both games and playing 90% of the game. They are scoring goals, it's just a matter of time before he chips in with a few. I'd be very impressed with 15 goals but I think 10-12 maybe. Just slightly better than those 6.5m strikers.

I am counting on 15. He got 5 in 14 games last year while being new to the league, he has to step it up a little. My issue with him is that he doesn't seem like the type of striker that can get more than 3 assists if that. Auba will get shitloads of assists on top of goals.
 
Hey guys is it possible that I can get the pass for the cafe league. I've posted again sometime ago but no answer. Is there any rule that doesn't allow new members join? Cause I was at the WC league.

Yep. Was gonna get Digne out as he featured a total of only 4 minutes over two games but just saw his price went down 0.1 last night FFS :mad:

What's the point of signing a left back from Barcelona and benching him for your 34 years old anyway?
 
I think many teams will have similar line up. But the way players are priced, you can only have two or three premium players and it'll all come down to which combination of the below do the best:

Hazard
Salah
Mane
Aguero
Aubamayang
Kane

I have Salah, Mane and Aguero... Hopefully that's the best combination :wenger:

I have Hazard, Mane, Aguero and Auba:nervous:

And agreed Captaincy choice will be essential with teams being so similar. No complaints yet with Mane and Aguero Captaincy choices so far. Looking at Auba for GW3 though,

Hmm, it's my first fantasy experience but I'd say the likes of Eriksen and Firmino will be up with this lot. Tbf, even the group you've mentioned is really 2 different tiers. Would expect Salah, Aguero and Kane to leave the rest behind come end of the season.
 
I made an absolute terrible mistake I transferred 9 players worth 36 points and confirmed without hitting the wild card. Surely no correction or cancellation! Shit.

I think you can still play wildcard at any point before GW starts and it will then not take points off...

Might be wrong but you should be able to activate the wildcard at any time - it should then void any hits you've taken in the lead up to the next gameweek.

Wildcard cancels all hits for that gameweek so you’ll be fine.

Pissing about trying to do the wildcard trick to try and get extra cash (not sure it's gonna have worked at all), I think I might've ended up with a better team anyway :lol:

Thoughts on whether to keep this team, or go back to the team I was planning on after wildcarding?
