Fantasy Premier League 18/19

This game takes the mic at times.

I've had Aubameyang most of the season and he's done next to nothing, so I lose patience with him and bring in Kane and make him captain.

Kane bombs but at least I was justified in getting rid of Aubameyang as he's not playing .. just checked and well that's just great.

Cue Aguero doing the business today as I got rid of him too last week.

Of course Aubameyang has his best week to date straight after I finally get rid of him

I’ve only recently got Vardy in, but Arsenal are looking good going forward and Lacazette is always involved. I really don’t want to get rid Vardy though, as his fixtures are great, but I have Maddison to hopefully cover the Leicester output.

I’ve 2 free transfers and 0.3 in the bank, which means I can just do the following without any hits leaving 0.0 in the bank. It’s almost written in the stars.

Shaw - Doherty
Vardy - Lacazette

Seems like a good deal to me! Shaw is playing well but he's not got much else to work with at the back or in attack.

I can't work Laca in as I want to do Pereyra to KDB now. If I got Fraser instead, I could do Mitro to Lacazette or Firmino. My team looks so strong with the following that I'm not sure I wanna do it. Also Fraser has a rough run of fixtures coming up.

Yeah, I'm looking to change. Although I'm aware no strikers are consistent at the moment so might be kneejerking.

Would you rather have Sterling than KDB in a few weeks? I can't decide. KDB more nailed and cheaper though.
 
Hoping Mendy repays me for keeping hold of him! Will deffo get sent off now. No TAA is a touch too.

TAA not starting will hurt a few of my mates teams. 1-1 would be perfect. Ederson and Mane with the goals pls :lol:

Have given De Gea and Shaw enough time now - both need to go
The 4m defender and Stephens probably need upgrading
Ings probably needs to go to a more midpriced striker
Salah not worth the price this year

Look at Mendy again now he's back, or the keeper
Need a Wolves defender in there, Docherty is going up tonight (4.6) but Bennett (4.1) is cheaper. Patricio worth a look in goal too
Need an Arsenal attacker - Mhky was a disaster, so Lacazette looks hot right now
Maybe a second look at Bournemouth. I have Fraser and some good value, but Brooks, King and Wilson seem to be smashing it

Any other thoughts, people?
 
Finished on 77. No thanks to Mane and Aguero. Two clean sheets on my bench.

@VeevaVee My only concern is how long it will take KDB to settle in and how many times he will be hooked early. Feel like we won’t really see consistency from him till nearer Xmas.

That's a strong score this week. I'm on 65.

Yeah, true. I might go for Lacazette for now, then downgrade him and bring KDB in down the line.
 
Really glad with the Hazard captain for me. He got me 28 points! Most people will have captained either Salah/Kane/Aguero.

Is it time to bring Salah in now?
 
Think I should be finishing on 73. Chuffed with that, in spite of captain Kane - knew I should have put the armband on Hazard.
 
I was really hoping that game ended 0-0, not for one minute did i think it would happen mind so thats a pretty decent result.
 
66 points with Kane captain and Shaw with a big fat zero. Quite happy with it. Hazard and King saving the round.
 
72 points. Pretty happy considering I've caught up a bit in some of my leagues.
 
85, happy with that.

Dunno whether I wanna bring in De Bruyne soon at 9.7, could be very good value.

Now to weigh up whether to bring Salah back in or hold out for KDB. Mendy will need to come back too but he can wait for now.
 
Salah isn't the same player as last season. He will get returns in their next run of fixtures but he's just too expensive.

Yeah but I think Liverpool will go on a run now due to their fixtures and need an attacker from that team. Question is which one...
 
I don't know whether it's worth keeping in Aguero. He pretty much is limited to 90mins.
