Anyone debating getting KDB in soon? Probably gonna get him+Mendy in again and get rid of Salah

im going to leave jiminez because I just think its a matter of time that he picks up big points and hes plodding alone nice with 5s on 5.5m.

I really want either Salah/Vardy I think one of them might go on a nice little run. I wouldn't mind getting rid of Aguero and pumping everything into that midfield.
 
60 points. Meh.

Getting Mitrovic in for Wilson really hurt me. That cost me 12 points not even counting the -4 hit I took. Mitrovic has good fixtures coming though so he better make it up.
 
For the first time I'm seriously considering booting Salah. However, playing with no Liverpool midfielders feels wrong. what are their upcoming fixtures like?

If you had a plan I'd stick to it. Players blank sometimes. Although I can't see Kane being worth the extra money.

Fixtures are actually good til the end of the season. There's almost no difficult runs. The worst being Arsenal then City away within a few days at new year.

My plan was to get Kane and captain him for two rounds and get rid because of terrible fixtures. But if he scores x3 GW9 I might keep him longer.. Lacazette looks good, but they have dificult fixtures coming uo as well. Vardy has green fixtures as far as the eye can see.. Will have to think this through.

I'm thinking Lacazette for a bit too. Then downgrading and getting KDB in.

Well if you're intending to play Hojberg over Maddison then you might as well do it.

Still, Maddison has a way higher ceiling than Højbjerg. It's not unrealistic for Leicester to score a goal or two against Arsenal.

As said above, if you're planning to play Højbjerg ahead of Maddison, you might as well just get rid. Or play Maddison, save your FT, and rethink your decision next gameweek.
 
Booted Salah - It's not that he has some easy games, it's just that you can see he's mentally out of balance when finishing. He's low on confidence at the moment - 13m is too high to have a player like that.

Butchered the cash-cow and gone for Gylfi + Lacazette + Robertson instead. Too early for KDB.
 
I'm 50/50 on bringing Salah in now. I'd made all the moves with £3.3m in the bank to upgrade Mane to him this gameweek but now I'm thinking of holding that cash and doing a double transfer the week after if KDB is back in the City team. Basically it's either a midfield of...

or

Mane / Hazard / Richarlison / KDB / Fodder

Lol. The classic "international injury". Last time he was "injured" I ignored him and he got a huge haul. Definitely waiting till the end of the break before doing anything this time. Squad value at £104.3m now and it's only going one way.

Not trusting having 2 Chelsea centre backs this coming GW. Brought Robertson in for Azpilicueta. Might switch captain from hazard to mane. Can see Jose making it difficult for Eden
 
What do people think about Alonso & Fraser out for Yedlin & Sterling? I've got £3.3m in the bank. Don't really want to lose Alonso but I need another City attacker and this is one way it could work. I never really got on the Alonso train until after his hauls in the first 3 weeks so it's a tad annoying.

Would then have Hazard / Mane / Sterling / Richarlison / Knockaert midfield.

Would trade down on Knockaert in GW11 to bring in Arnautovic for Wilson maybe.

Sterling imo is a great differential. He will get loadsa points and with low ownership due to his price this year could basically be a game changer. Tough to answer the alonso question.
 
Need to replace Lukaku with somebody. Dithering between Lacazette and Aubameyang.

The second option. It gives you a great differential with Sterling, City will outscore so many opponents and Sterling seems to be involved in a lot of that. Lacazette also playing down the middle is looking strong, but be careful as Arsenal's easy run is coming to an end. This option also allows you to hedge your bets. Spurs look inconsistent this year and Lucas points have dried up somewhat.

The leader in our league (which is the only one that matters to me) has Lacazette though so I won't be able to catch up with him this way. Then again I'm likely to fall further behind if I go with Auba as I think he will score less. Maybe I'll use the price difference to upgrade elsewhere and gain advantage. Our teams are very similar at the moment (6 players).

Where are you ranked? Captain choices are the difference.
