FC Seoul v Manchester United

Post mortem? We bought Owen didnt we? Im happy with our strikeforce now, im just stating that I reckon it wouldve been a bad idea to put all our faith in Welbeck and Macheda.

Because Macheda's misplaced a few passes in a meaningless pre-season friendly against a team that's half-way through their season?

Good man.

I love this commentator, retro, beats 'take a boow son' anyday.

We need to keep it simple, feck all these daft flicks that come to nothing and most importantly stop trying to pass the ball through the defender's body or legs. They're not fecking ghosts ffs, they are solid matter not fresh air, why are we trying to rewrite the laws of science ?

Midfield formation is all wrong. If you're gonna have three in midfield with no width, then your three up front have to have width. Instead we have Macheda, Rooney, and Giggs almost playing in a 1-1-1 formation. Don't think any player's fault in particular, just idiotic formation.

Fack Sergie.

Is someone listening to the feckwit english commentator on the swedish "TV4 Sport"?

He can't see for shit(didn't mention Rooney shouldering the goal after 20 replays and it took him three replays to understand a clear corner was given), he's disgustingly positive and diplomatic(sometimes you think FC Seoul's players are all "world class legends"), he calls the game "soccer" even though he's english, he constantly confuses Anderson with Evra, etc...

He's more annoying than the game and result itself.

No pacy dribblers in the team = mediocrity

Pre-season friendly = match fitness

Let's face it, that's what's important. I've seen seasons when teams have looked appalling in pre-season and then had a great season, and vice-versa. All that matters is that we pick up no injuries, and every player gets playing time.

Yeah the old guy is a good commentator, very fair, unbiased, and truly enjoys the game. Did a great job on the previous two matches.

This is a really good test for us, we looked a bit complacent at times but nows the time to work out the kinks.

We are lacking match sharpness, obviously, and we are playing a decent side. No wonder we are struggling.

However the defending needs to be better and our passing must improve in the second half. Too much wastage especially in the final third. This game has been all about getting minutes on the clock for some of our players but now we must revert to a standard formation. We need more width and creativity from the wings and must be ruthless up front.

If it's the same commentator I'm listening to, you're clearly brain damaged. If I wanted an uncle who knows nothing about football but loves everyone I'd have gone to the senile care centre.

Doesn't look good for Fletch, Giggs, Anderson, Evra and Rooney if we're basing stuff on today's game.

Sell!

They're showing a replay on my stream of the first goal and the guy says, "To put it past Petr Cech"

:o

i think i've got this fella as well. it sounds like he is commentating while watching a low quality stream and can't really tell what's going on. super-positive about everything, which is quite amusing to be honest:D

Definitely.

Im describing what I see. Im not saying the team is mediocre in general. No player in this side is particularly good at beating his marker, that is something that should be addressed before the summer window is over. Someone who can do that bit of magic on a regular basis.

I can't see why Ferguson is insisting on playing four central midfielders game after game. Especially when we have so many wingers.

I don't know how many times the commentator has wanked off to the presence of Sir Bobby now. Calm the feck down, we realised you idolised him when you talked about him for 30 minutes last game.

he also called johny Evans, Johny Eagles

He's brilliant tbf.

He's probably a posh guy they've picked randomly just because he's english, despite him knowing feck all about football. I like how he overdramatize situations, you would have thought they had won the world cup after that second goal.

It took him 35 minutes to realise that PIG had come on last game. He needed to see an up-close on his number 29 shirt to realise it wasn't Ben Foster.

Good man.

Do you honestly think that we could retain the league and stand a chance in the CL with a strikeforce of Rooney, Berbatov, Macheda and Welbeck.
Yes or no?

We needed another striker, for depth if nothing else. What if Rooney or Berbatov were injured for a month or two? Would you trust in the youngsters to deliver consistently, week-in week-out, playing 90 minutes of first team football twice a week?

No.

But with a strikeforce of Rooney, Berbatov, Macheda, Welbeck and Owen, I think we can. As does the manager, clearly.

This commentator sounds like he is from the 60;s or 70's

I think we would have a friggin heart attack if he was doing regular commentary in the league. Imagine a late winner against Pool or Chelsea. He's bundles of fun this guy ... someone get a name.
