Made the mistake with not going with my instinct in Wigan game with United to score next goal when 1-0 up and Rooney not to score next goal when Hernandez came off 3-0 up. Also had a really good feeling that West Brom were going to nick a goal last night and didn't bet on it.

Diaby and Wilshire are both better than 2/1 (betfair) to get booked tonight, either of those seem like decent value to me. I've gone with Diaby for what it's worth.

Up about €385 since monday, which according to my betfair leaves me minus €40 for entire season thus far which Im quite surprised/happy at given the the last couple of months.
Not sure if he can play tonight but Van Bommell has to be of interest booking wise. PPower often give odds of a named player to get sent off. Might be worth a few quid at whats usually around 25/1.
Another bet worth considering in the 2nd leg of these matches is the keeper of the side thats leading to get booked, you'll get about 9/1 on betfair. Keepers regularly get punished for this in the last 16, quarters and semi finals.....

I've been nibbling with a plan of betting on over 1,5 goals for a couple of months now. It's been quite a success. Yes, you have to bet big to have a bigger return, but I find it to be relativity risk free. And a win is a win in my eyes. The price in the Spurs-Milan match is very nice taking into account that Spurs have shipped in 3 in both of their last two matches and sure as hell they won't be able to keep Milan at bay for 180 minutes. Adding to that, you always see themselves scoring in any match.

I've made a resolution that I'm not just going to bet for the sake of betting any more, from now on I'm only putting money down when I've got a real hunch something is going to happen, so far it's worked out much better than the days when I'd bet just because I fancied a bit of excitement.
