Yep move on

Code:
                   VDS

Neville Rio Brown Heinze

Park Fletch Scholes Ronaldo

                 Rooney Saha
Sub: Kuszczak, Vidic, Carrick, O'Shea, Ole

I'd go for 2-0 Saha, Ronaldo.

I'm a little worried about this one. We will be tired after the horrible pitch tonight and I feel we are playing a little bit below the level we were. I'll be happy with 0-1. In fact the next 3 away games will have a huge impact on our season.

-----------------------Van Der Sar-----------------------

--Brown-------------Vidic----------Rio----------Heinze---

--Park---------------Fletcher-----Scholes--------Richardson--

---------------------Rooney------Saha-------------------

Subs: Kuzczak, 'The Cat', Soljskaer, Richardson, Ronaldo
Reasons for some exclusions/inclusions:

Neville rested after Champions League exertions and knock on face he took late in the match-----Brown as more than able replacement

Heinze in for Evra since Fulham possess a few burly strikers in the Duncan Ferguson mould with the likes of Helgar Helgusson (spelling ?), John ******s (or is it ****** JOhns?) and Brian McBride. Heinze better suited against Fulham's strong aerial threat comapred to Evra

Saha in from the start based on the theory that most players scored against their ex-clubs and Saha has already gotten 2 superb goals against Fulham as far as I can remember (1 in the 1st league match, 1 a few seasons ago when he ran from the half way line to score a brilliant goal), so he's in virtue of his need to start scoring goals to boost his confidence and his good record against his former club plus some good form as subsitute against Lille means he is an automatic starter

Park to start---fresh legs, did not play against Lille, but was our best performer against Reading in the FA Cup and so will definitely start against Fulham, also scored a goal against Fulahm last season in the League Cup

Giggsy, Carrick, Larrson are all rested for future matches.

Prediction: 1-2 in our favour with goals from Saha, Rooney with McBride consolation goal for Al_Fayed's team

I think Fergie should and maybe must give a rest to a few players.

I can see those changes from the Lille match: Fletcher for Carrick, Park for Ronaldo/Giggs, Saha for Larsson.

Like all the 19 away games in the premiership, this will be a very tough game. I hope Fergie don't rest many players, Maybe Carrick and Giggs will get a rest but I hope both will be in the squad.

No it was against Birmingham he scored the goal. But in the league game vs Fulham he won a penalty for us and passed to two goals when we won. He was very good in that game.

Park, Saha, Fletcher and Heinze to take over Giggs, Larsson, Carrick and Evra respectively. I chose Heinze to start due to his aerial ability, Fulham have many players capable of punishing us during set-pieces. Ronaldo seemed to have picked up a knock during the Lille game, but he should be fit to face Fulham.

I'll go for a 2-0 win. Saha, Rooney

Sound enough logic for me that, i totally agree.

I reckon the team will be

GK: VdS

RB: Neville
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra

RM: Park
CM: Carrick
CM: Scholes
LM: Ronaldo

CF: Rooney
CF: Saha (i hope)

Im a bit worried about this one because we dont have a great record against Fulham away but im going to go with us 1-2. Ronaldo and Saha usually score against these lot

Looks like a sound enough team to me, I don't think there will be too many changes - Possibly Fletcher for Scholes ? Maybe not. Fulham are very beatable at the moment and if we go at them early we could run out 3-0 winners. Would love to see Saha getting back on the scoresheet for a timely confidence boost !!!

2-0

clean sheet will keep confidence high and so will the win obviously!

ronaldo to explode, hopefully saha on the scoresheet also :D

Im going to this...Tough game but we'll win it 1-2. Saha getting both!

3-0 Saha, Rooney, Vidic.

I prefer the badges in the newbie's match day thread :wenger:

Apparently he injured his foot when he kicked those water bottles. Or atleast thats what it says in some papers this morning.

come on united. massive fixture!!

It might seem like 'just another game', but it's a very important fixture as we could move 9 points clear with a victory and Chelsea's game in hand comes somewhere in a distant future, so living with a thought that you are not six, but nine points behind could prove difficult.

Fulham aren't a bad team, at least they aren't as bad as their results suggest. I remember them giving us hard games in the past, beating us at Old Trafford and fighting until the final whistle at Craven Cottage (hello Papa Bouba Diop).

They also have something to prove after a few bad games, especially last week when they got hammered by Tottenham at their own ground by 4-0. Defeats like that usually make weaker teams double their effort in following game, and when it's a game as prestigious as this one, they will fight like mad.

It won't be a walk-over for us surely, Fulham got stuffed at Old Trafford in the opening game but that shouldn't be a benchmark by which they will be measured. Coleman will surely try to once again hassle United, and I hope we won't underestimate opposition.

I'd put the strongest team possible on the pitch, league is a priority and we can't slip in a moment like this. I would rather rest some players against Reading, as going out in FA Cup wouldn't be as painful as dropping points in the league plus Reading are likely to put out their second string team as well.

I'd be happy with a 2-0 win after some early goal from anyone, and a 70th minute killer from anyone.

If Ronaldo is hurt, lets play this, if he's fit, rest Giggs.

VDS

Nev Rio Vidic Evra

Park Carrick Scholes Giggs

Saha Rooney

Subs: PIG, Sly, Fletcher, Larsson, Ole

If Rio's groin is sore I would rest him as well, announcers seemed to think he strained it in the 2nd half on Tuesday. We need him for Scousescum.

VDS

Nev
Rio
Vida
Heinze

Ronaldo
Fletcher
Scholes
Giggs

Rooney
Saha

Subs: PIG, O'Shea, Brown, Carrick, Larsson

3-1 to united, Rooney, Saha and Giggs with the goals.

Rio must play, even if he's only 50%. He is our most important player, our defence are shit if Rio not playing.

VDS
Neville Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Ronaldo Fletcher Scholes Park
Rooney Saha

Subs; Kuszczak - O'Shea - Carrick - Giggs - Larsson

Give a rest to Carrick, Larsson and Giggs. Carrick-O'Shea/Fletch wil probably be our CM against Reading in the replay, so let's give Carrick a break tomorrow.

What do you think of my team? Do you think this will be the line up tomorrow?

Fulham will be a big threat in the air, and we'll particulalry have to concencrate at set pieces. Helguson and McBride are big threats in the air and they also have the likes of Diop, Knight, Quedrue. So i could see us poosibly conceding from this. But the movement of the front players and wide players of ours should hopefully cause them a lot of players.

Good news

Manchester United wingers Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo have both been passed fit.

Ronaldo sustained a foot injury in the Champions League win over Lille on Tuesday, while match-winner Giggs suffered a minor knock.

I'm also a little wary of this game. I watched the highlights of the Spurs game, and the scoreline might hav been a tad harsh because Spurs scored some very good goals. Fulham were attacking in that game with a lot of pace, and they also present a very strong aerial threat. They've got a pretty strong midfield too, so it's not going to be easy for us unless we can sneak in some early goals.
I'm mainly worried about the fact that we were shite against Lille, and bouncing back with the same kind of performance we produced against Watford and Spurs will be difficult. The players will be tired, even if we play our strongest team so I feel it will be one of those games where we'll need to grind out a result.

After a couple of piss poor performances i really hope we are able to
strike back and play some good football, not so sure we will though.
This game and the next three against pool, Bolton and Blackburn
are so fecking important.
