But nearly all of this lineup will start against Inter Milan. Why risk so many of them? At the very least we could have rested Rio and put in Evans instead. It would mean a very small drop in quality. Rio must be exhausted at the moment.

A stronger team than I thought. We are giving Fulham enough respect which is good but this poses questions for those involved in our midweek game. But its a strong side and we have the quality we need to get through this tie. Hopefully nobody lets us down today.

It might mean that, but they're professionals and every single one of them is at the peak of their physical condition, so there's no real problems with it.
It annoys me all this talk of footballers being tired and resting them, how do you know? Trust the fitness staff at United. They're fantastic athletes and more than capable of playing a few games in a week. They're enjoying their football and will be wanting to play every game.
