He scored one more goal than Berbatov last season playing in a few more matches. Berbatov nearly doubled Tevez in league goals.

Christ I don't know which is lacking balls the most, the United performance or some of the posters in here.
But what other choice do we have right now. When you lose 7 or 8 defenders and your starting GK its impossible to play with any confidence. Until they start getting those injuries cleared up expect days like this.
It's a combination of poor tactics & playing far too deep today.

Losing five defenders means we should expect to concede but not to play dreadfully all over the pitch.
We're paying the price in one respect for not buying a proper right back who could also play in the centre. All season we've struggled for consistency at that position with O'Shea being solid but forcing us to give up any forward thrust from that flank.

The squad is fine. We're missing our first 5 CB, and you can't have more than 5 in the squad. We'll be fine when a few players are back.
I agree to an extent but injuries are no excuse for Anderson/Scholes/Rooney/Gibson and Owen being completely and utterly shit. No excuse at all. They've done nothing positive.

If we play Fabio at right back today, stick Fletcher in midfield with Anderson/Scholes, play Obertan left wing and play Berba up front instead of Owen we'd have produced far better today, irrespective of the backline.
