I wasn't that impressed at beating Lucio for pace. I mean it looked good, and it was a great goal, but, it's Lucio, on a yellow.

EDIT: Just showed some highlights on sky and half of them Maicon is just jogging back as Bale is tearing down the wing. Unlucky with the one that just went over the line and Crouch tapped in.

I'd be amazed if we dont go after him in the summer. We'll be crying out for a natural left sided winger when Giggsy calls it a day and with Fergies time possibly also coming to an end in the next couple of years he'll want to set us up for the next decade. If Spurs dont finish in the champions league places at the end of the season, i cant see Bale wanting to stay around after getting a sample of Champions league football this season.

Bale has just started playing consistent this term, finally at left wing. He was quite shit at LB the first two plus seasons. Comedy gold.
