Ronaldo Wanyama and Zaha great summer business. Fabio back for left back. Sorted.
He'd make a great left winger for us, I'm sure, but he'd be nowhere as influential as he is for Spurs right now where he's essentially a striker. I've been trying to point it out already, but it doesn't seem to register with some.
You are obsessed with Ronaldo coming here
Ronaldo's getting on a bit now, Bales the future
He really isn't. He moves about all over the place, sometimes playing as a LW, sometimes as a RW, and sometimes in a free attacking mid role.
Apart from anything else, how many strikers pick up the ball from deep inside their own half and run with it a long way before scoring? Bale has done this many times.
ob·ses·sion (b-sshn, b-)
n.
1. Compulsive preoccupation with a fixed idea or an unwanted feeling or emotion, often accompanied by symptoms of anxiety.
2. A compulsive, often unreasonable idea or emotion.
Not really.
I'm a huge Bale fan and even took abuse from some on the newbie board for having the audacity to compare him favorably to Nani. But the likelihood of Fergie spending 55m for Bale, which is probably what it's going to take to pry Bale off Levy's hands, is virtually nil. The chances of Levy letting Bale go for less than 50m+ are also probably nil.
Speculation in the Spanish press about Ronaldo's future with Real is at a fever pitch. Ronaldo wants to leave and Fergie wants him back. We know that. As much as the desire to see Bale come to United is understandable, if the opportunity truly does present itself to bring Ronaldo back home, the decision is a no-brainer for Fergie.
But football is a business and Real just may not want to sell to United, unless they demand we throw in Chicharito and possibly Vidic PLUS whatever crazy fee they put on the table. It would break my heart to see Chicharito go so I can't even be rational about that hypothetical possibility.
But if it's an "obsession" to suggest that Ronaldo coming back to Old Trafford is as plausible as van Persie going to Old Trafford, then so be it, though I can assure I'm feeling no "symptoms of anxiety" whatsoever. But I appreciate your concern!
You don't "know" that Ronaldo wants to leave. That's purely guesswork.
Obsessed: adjective
having a complete preoccupation with someone or something, to an extent that seems extreme to others. (Collins English dictionary)
All Bales best stuff comes from outpacing his opponent which he is awesome at. Begs the question what he will be like when he does start to lose his pace, as far off as it may be.
He'd make a great left winger for us, I'm sure, but he'd be nowhere as influential as he is for Spurs right now where he's essentially a striker. I've been trying to point it out already, but it doesn't seem to register with some.
Gareth Bale has been socking it to opposition teams all season, but now Sportsmail can reveal one of the secrets of his success.
'The Tottenham star, 23, has been spotted wearing special non-slip socks, which claim to help anchor a player's feet inside his boots, improving traction and increasing acceleration.

...except from the price.
he's getting lauded for finishing one on one with the keeper after the keeper committing himself too?
Why don't we praise him for the way he brilliantly turned in the OG too![]()
quite embarrassed by some of the crap written about him in this thread! He is a quality player with potential to play for the best clubs in the world, get over it.
