Controlling the space probably wins that battle of stupidity because of the grandiose nature of the point, but at least he didn't dedicate a whole thread to it.

A bit like when Mourinho got hailed as a tactical revolutionary for essentially parking the bus with Inter against Barca.
Just out of curiosity brwned, since you watched a lot of football matches from different eras, would you consider this article accurate in terms of "new spaces"? http://adinosmanbasic.wordpress.com/2013/11/17/new-spaces-to-target-the-evolution-to-protect-them/
I'm sorry but I could never read an article that long based on football tactics. All I know is within the football tactics pseudo-intellectual culture there's this incessant need to talk about modern this and revolutionary that, when most of the time it's anything but that.

Not if Bale was adamant on Madrid.Adebayor to us is such a bizarre shout, can't see anything he'd really offer us that we don't have in our other strikers.
edit: Also I don't see Levy missing out on the chance to milk Real for an extra £15m if we'd offered that amount

El Mundo saying the entire deal will cost Madrid 265 million Euros.
265... Million. Unbelievable figure.

It was a lovely goal. He does much better when Ronaldo isn't playing I find. Felt he didn't do so much other than that goal, but I wasn't fully focused on the game.
The entire team plays better football without Ronaldo.
But do they get the results?
Wonder if there are Madrid stats based on games with and without Ronaldo.
My bet would be that they average less points without him though.
The left peg on this guy... he generates so much power almost from stance, it's unreal. He's going to be such an important player for us.
So happy with the quality we have in attack right now. A nice problem to have for Ancelotti.
Very very impressive given he's been injured on and off this season and didn't even have a pre season.Gareth Bale's current stats for La Liga and Europe:
La Liga: 14 (3) apps; 10 goals; 9 assists
Europe: 3 (2) apps; 2 goals; 0 assists
Total: 17 (5) apps, 12 goals, 9 assists

Well, I'd have to agree, Di Maria and Modric have been the standout performers conistently throughout this season. Bale, Isco and Jese have been fantastic additions aswell.Well he rarely is absent but in the recent few games he's been suspended, Real Madrid have played better and won their matches rather comfortably. Statistically speaking, we'd need him to see get a long term injury and how Real Madrid would play like that.
The best thing that Carlo has done this season IMHO is selling Ozil and playing Di Maria in midfield.

Could this be the year we finally win the 10th? It's looking very good I must say.
If we can avoid Bayern until the final, who knows..
