Television Gotham - TV series

Well that was a big series finale … nice ending twist except*:

looks like fecking Fish is somehow back in charge
She's the LvG of Gotham super-villains

That apart, this all looks like it could get very interesting for series 3 though:

Court of Owls
Bruce Clone
Jerome back again

Yeah he was in Oz.

He looks strange with hair

Has anyone seen Focus with Will Smith? Is this guy the rich gambler at the Superbowl?

So Strange had a bomb which could be disabled with just a cup of water?

Good ending to the series though, I'm already looking forward to the next one

Very much improved season . And a fantastic finale (Bomb scene was a bit dodgy) with a great twist at the end . Looking forward to season 3

So Fish is going to be Queen of the crazy gang by the looks of it :nervous:

What's worse is that they had the chance to tweak her character with the whole reanimation thing but instead are straight back to the effortlessly annoying, elaborate hand gesturing fool that we all wish died at sea. I already can't wait for Penguin to kill her.

A decent finale but I think the last few episodes have dipped below the standard set earlier in the series. They had 22 episodes to play with so why it came to the point where they had to rush so much in to the last few is hard to understand.

I did laugh when Peabody said water, and they used it, but she was still asking for water for herself and Fox and Gordon, were like "Oh feck"

Yeah, Fish character should have been tweaked. I think theyve done a good job with Barbara and saving her character.

S3 needs more penguin though.

Gotham Season 3 Comic-Con Trailer

Mostly a recap but some new footage at the end

Is it me or has Jim made his voice even deeper now?
Fitting with his new badass vigilante persona.

I really dislike the actor that plays him. I don't know if it's his face or the way he speaks but something about him gets on my nerves.

Reddit has been speculating that it's not Jim but Clayface posing as him, since his behaviour has been way off compared to other seasons. Probably tin-foil stuff, but hey. Thought it was a good episode, just don't care much for Ivy
I know that it's a plot device to make her older/recast her so she can be seductive without being creepy, but still. Does that mean that she's a kid in an adult body? That makes being seductive even more creepy.

Ben McKenzie (James Gordon) and Morena Baccarin (Lee Tompkins and Deadpool's GF) are engaged in real life and are having a child

At last! The stegosaurus pharmacy raider scene finally clears up what happened to Ballotelli!
The "Why always Me(scalin)?" t-shirt was the big give away!
The return of Fish Mooney reminded me of how much better series two was without her. The camera work and grading on this show is about as near to comic-book as you can get but I'll seriously consider dropping it if she's back for good!

However, it's quite refreshing to see that there's still some places left in the world where inherited bricks and mortar have not skewed the value of a million dollar bounty!

WTF is with Duece Wayne?

Finally watched it and really enjoyed it as a set up for the rest of the series. I didnt mind S1 cos I got to binge watch it and Fish didnt bother me too much. (but I can kinda see why she would annoy people, cos she seemed so OTT even though it is loosely based on comics).

Think they need to use Bullock more though.

Liked the third episode.
You had Mad hatter, Penguin getting Riddler released and Creepy AF clone Bruce.
And return of Falcone.

Enjoyed it and I like that Penguin is now mayor with Riddler basically passing Butch by.
Penguin and Riddler together are my fav parts of the show.

Also really like what theyve done with Barbara. Disliked her in s1 but turning her batshit crazy was a great move.

Mayor Cobblepot :wenger:

Never thought I'd say this … but I'm leaning more towards Barbara than Leigh at the mo

It was a ballsy casting choice to pick the guy that will grow up to be Batman. Does anyone else think that they'll swap him out or maybe consider some work on that huge conk or un-chisled chin to maintain consistency?

Good start to the season so far, glad Fish has gone but Hypnoshit guy annoys me almost as much (every time I see him I think of Willy fecking Wonka).

I completely forgot at the time but Jerome never turned up in the escapees from Arkham/Indian Hill, he was definitely in one of the pods (who the feck wasn't, apparently nobody died in the first two seasons!?!).

Barbara has been hot as hell ever since she turned evil and they have done a really good job of salvaging her character in the show as she was pretty weak in the first season.

I liked how they built up the Nigma and Penguin dynamic, seriously hinting at some fierce homo-eroticism, setting up what would usually turn out to be a kiss scene and then switching it up to a reasonably odd but affectionate man-hug. Such wummery

03/06
These things hardly need pointing out!
Only spoilered for people where it's not aired yet.

Jim picked the one he really wanted to save when he was asked who he should kill, he knew that Tetch would shoot the one he wanted left alive.

Also, if I was a bad-ass villain with that skill set I'd have hypnotised Gordon and made him shoot the person he loves the most himself … bit obvious really!

It's amazing how much that speaking in rhymes
can really annoy me, especially at times
when the hatter has something dramatic to say
it ruins the scene and comes across a bit gay
speaking of which – who'd have thunk it
the mayor of Gotham prefers sausage to crumpet?

Benedict Samuel is perfect as The Mad Hatter.

Also, does anyone here feel that the relationship between Penguin and Riddler is forced?

 Genius!

A little yes. I can fully understand the mutual affection (platonic and professional) and can even buy in to Penguin being rather taken by the fact that he can finally appear to trust and rely upon someone that believes in him like his mother did. Nigma is not so easy to resolve and the latest episode with his encounter at the wine store kind of put things right again (or at least alluded to it). I actually thought it was going to be a case of Nigma playing Penguin for his own long term benefit but we'll see what comes of it. Nigma has been relatively "sane" compared to his pre-Arkham antics and I have found that a little odd in and of itself.

S03/E07 & 08

Two episodes and lots going on but not much really happening but …

As well as the rhyming that tool Jervis Tetch
makes my blood boil and want me to fetch
a razor or scalpel to trim off those chops
and some scissors to take to his long curly locks
Since being banged up in prison for hours
why has he not used his hypnotic powers?

and … Ed 'n' Issy, what's going on there?
He sees her in specs and it gives him a scare,
when he thinks he clocks Kristen in the loo mirror,
he starts to panic and think he might kill her!
She changes her looks (which makes her less hot)
But them's the breaks, or in her case … not!

I'm not quite enjoying the season as much as early season 2. I must admit my dislike for Fish and now Tetch has probably created a bit of my detachment.
Where the feck has Ivy gone? I'm beginning to think they have something against gingers on the show.

Just 7/10 this week. You would have needed to incorporate the phrase "chokey sex" for higher marks (you had "specs" to rhyme it with as well!!!)

Is Morena Baccarin pregnant again?

They keep putting her in really stupid outfits (like that white coat in the last show when she turned up to say "it's over" to Jim)!

They had to totally re-write her character arc after she dropped Jim's sprog March 2016 just after the show picked up after the mid-season 2 break. Looks like it's going to be the same story again!

What's funny is that in the mean time Erin Richards just keeps getting hotter and hotter
