Television Gotham - TV series

Latest episode was weak, the one before this one was very good.

I really dislike Lee. They should've kept her away for this season.

Is there a tv adaptation of comics with a main love interest that doesn't get on everyone's nerves eventually?

See in the last episode the fight scene. Some of those shots were awesome. Seemed at times with the slow mo knife swings across the screen it was set up for a 3D film. It was one of the better fight scenes on the show.
Next weeks episode looks like it’ll be a good one.

Caught up with season 4. The show is still incredible. Pyg was a great villain.

Very good episode, a lot of stuff happened but it didn't feel rushed.

Great mid season finale, some other shows could learn from it. I'd say that this season is perhaps my favourite thus far.

Excellent episode. Sofia's shown the ruthlessness & manipulation needed to be a crime boss - really enjoyed how she played Gordon. I did think she was the one who ordered the hit on Don Falcone but didn't realise she sent the Pyg to Gotham as well.

Looking forward to what Jerome's got planned.

Caught up. Amazing stuff. So much fun and doesnt take itself too seriously (which is what i thought s1 was doing too much).

I loved Season 1. It's felt a little dull and repetitive since.

I stick with it because of the atmosphere and characters but it's not very good in my opinion.

For me, s1 tried to make Fish too serious. Also Barbara wasnt a good character then (now is). Also too much time was spent on villain of the week with Jim Gordon. I think they have the right balance now especially with the focus on villains and longer arcs (eg for Pyg, Jerome, etc). Whilst still having long-term villains like Riddler and esp Penguin.

Can’t wait till this starts again. Think it’s March 1st. Was watching some interview stuff on YouTube and they’ve replaced Poison Ivy again. It’s now Peyton List playing her.

Best superhero series ever made this, absolutely love it.

Such a step up from pretentious nonsense like The Arrow and Flash.

That long? Its been like two months they've gone on break, most shows returned in January.
I think they have an unusually long break every season. Or at least compared to the other shows. They might also be waiting till the olympics are out the way so we get a clean run at it and no more breaks for the back end of the season.

Hmm I disagree. A lot of the storylines end up with Gordon against the world, running from the police whilst trying to prove his innocence which is getting a bit tiresome.

The atmosphere and setting is superb but it's getting, I dunno, stale now.

Some of the characters are awful too.

Which?

The 2nd half of the new season looks promising. Jerome and penguin should be a lot of fun!

Started watching this again for like the 5th time and I forgot how much of a G Alfred is in this. The episode where someone puts a hit out on Selina Kyle and he threatens Butch. This might be my favourite Alfred. Probably because there is more back story to him than the other incarnations of him in the movies.

Can’t wait for the Jerome,Penguin colaberation.

New Ivy

"Why are you with Ed?"
"Well, he's not my first choice"
"I'm still here"

"I love bartending, it involves my two favourite things, drinking and ignoring people"

Classic

Ahh so good.. Normally it’s not something I would really pay that much attention to but the sets on Gotham are incredible.

Good return. I like how they were able to intertwine the stories/characters without over complicating the episode.

There was a nice Joker/Jerome easter egg when they did a span shot of Gotham after Ivy leaves the club, could see a Joker face painted on one of the buildings. I can't wait for him to return.

Decent episode . Just can't take this Solomon Grundy seriously

Kinda agree, I want that monster, just huge guy who is bigger than Bane with that touch of horror. Without huge CGI bill it ain’t going to happen.
Quite like the guy that played Butch but this seems like a leap and why does he have all his cognitive functions. Could I guess still be some of the story to come where he gets blasted with electricity and fries his brain and all he remembers is the nursery rhyme.

Another good episode. when Bruce asked him who he was I fully expected the Bale voice to kick in, “i’m batman!!”

The joker is awesome, reminded me a lot of of Ledgers performance the way it’s portrayed by Corey. As for Ivy anyone else find it weird that although she is what 16-18 in the show without any real education she seems quite intelligent.

So watched the return ep and just realised theres another one out already

I love how over-the-top/insane this show is. Jerome is brilliant.

Hopefully Bruce's hallucination means he can stop the party-boy act & get back to becoming the Batman.

Yeah was expecting the same

Hawt damn, it just ramped up. Full Ivy, Selina took another step towards Catwoman, Bruce towards Batman so many little advances. Thought that was a really good episode. That hammer scene.. ouch!!

Loved the ending as well with Jim and Harv, that Selina and Ivy scene was also pretty decent.

Enjoyed that episode.. They have certainly taken it up a notch regarding Bruce and the villains Potential of being an explosive season finale.
