Back up to £80million this week. At least £73million plus a player. Bad game next week and I'm knocking him down to £25m again.
Marital is more talented then Kane. If we get Kane then we'd probably play Martial on the left (left of a front 3 could work brilliantly though). But then what do you do with Memphis? See if he develops as a right sided player? Or we just use a 4-4-2 type formation for most games with Kane and Martial up top, and in the tough games, switch to a 4-3-3 with Martial on a wing.
You must not have been watching him if you think he's had a bad spell. Fair enough, he wasn't scoring, but his all round game has still been fantastic all season. After a bad spell he's going a long way towards proving himself as a very good player.
I wouldn't say that at all. I watch a fair bit of Spurs because my mate supports them and while Kane does often play well he was regularly letting himself down with decision making because he was desperate to score. You must not have been watching him if you think he's had a bad spell. You might want to compare their ages.Bollocks. You might want to compare the goals tally ... never mind taking look at the leagues those goals were scored in.

It's not. Kane is very, very good but Martial is visibly more gifted with that bit more to his game. It's no slight on Kane.

Even so, the claim that Martial is "much more talented" is very clearly not proved.
Sorry, but Martial has a lot yet to do to show that he's better than Kane, never mind "much more talented"
More goals doesn't mean more talented... Martial has a lot more natural ability on the ball, is 3 years younger, quicker. Kane is a better passer and probably has a better shot but with regards to dribbling and his first touch, Martial is far ahead IMO. Though not to say Kane is bad at it at all, just Martial is on the very top level when it comes to dribbling past players and ability on the ball.Bollocks. He's a very likable fellow alright. He's so lovable.
Harry Kane that is, not Glaston.

Kane: 59 goals in 159 appearances: 37%
Martial: 20 goals in 82: 24%
So Kane so far has scored nearly 3 times as many goals, with a higher goals-per-game percentage. And that's just club goals. His international goals tally is also better.
The claim that Martial is better is just plain silly.

... Martial ... is still a much a better player than Kane is right now ..

I'd love him here, despite the price and the media attention he'd bring.
He's just misunderstood.Who Glaston? I don't want him anywhere near the club.
This totally ignores any kind of striker that isn't an out-and-out poacher, though. Add to that the fact that Martial spent most of last season being subbed on, and has spent a lot of this one playing on the wing, and suddenly using goals to compare the two comes off as extremely simplistic. This totally ignores the goals stats, which is a striker's main purpose. Not to mention that Kane usually contributes hugely to all round play even when he's not scoring.
Let's just buy Kane rather than arguing if he is better than Martial or not...
Ah so you'd agree Vardy is a better player then? And that Kane will probably never reach the level of talent Kevin Philips was playing at in 2000?Kane: 59 goals in 159 appearances: 37%
Martial: 20 goals in 82: 24%

... Make the same comparison in 5 years and then it'll make sense.
The claim is that Martial is more talented, I think it's fairly obvious he is.If you say so ... but the point is that this silly claim is being made now in this thread, when clearly Martial has a lot more to prove before it becomes even remotely credible.

Is he a better player right now? No, probably not, but he's more talented.
A fairer comparison would be Kane at 19 years old vs Martial now, but we all know you won't do that, for obvious reasons.
Kane is a better goalscorer than Martial right now but not a better player is probably what Cina means. So more talented, but a worse player? Sounds likes double-speak bollocks to me.
