I'm not really keen on celebrating on message boards. All you can do is go around various threads typing WHEHEEEOA18OOOOO. My plan for the day is to sit screaming by my computer while I discuss dodgy offside decisions and Darkplace.

Just a question; would a 10 day break take the edge off Rooney, Ronaldo etc. I know they need a rest but how do they stay sharp. Come on for 10 minutes or so?

I wouldn't be surprised if SAF leaves a few key players back in Manchester. Some of them might get three or four days off before they report back for training this week.
 
Let the first team get some match practice before Barca - by telling them to attack our goal

The question is when Fergie selects the team for Barca. If he does it before this game, I wouldn't be shocked if we see starts for one of Scholes/Giggs and two of Berbatov/Tevez/Park (though Scholes and Giggs are so incredibly old that he might want to rest them even if he's just planning to have them on the bench in Rome). If he doesn't, he might rest everyone who's in contention for the starting XI. Or not.

I'm really expecting that the starting 11 to face Barcelona will be:

Van der Sar
O'Shea Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Carrick Scholes Anderson
Park Ronaldo Rooney​

It just seems like the best option, and I'd like them all rested up until the Champions League Final really.. but we'll see.

That's probably what I would go for too, though I'm not sure whether I would choose Scholes or Giggs.

Could be Foster for PIG but i reckon it will be PIG

TBH i would love to see this team play and just see how it fairs. i dont think it will because SAF will have to put out a strong enough team to beat Hull so the media dont say we are disrespecting the league (even though we have done our job...)

Petrucci hasnt played any football since February
 
If it means that we will send Shearer down, the tea lady should play in goal and not Foster...:lol:
 
First league game stress free this one.

Hopefully all the big guns are rested to prevent injuries and the younger lads can have a day out.
