I'm coming back to win the title - Zlatan

Some people on this forum are that stupid.
I can only assume that they have not been following football for long.

It is pathetic, just support the team ffs. You would think City had won everything and we were battling relegation from some of these posts.

Talks about Lukaku and hoe Jose has more options now once he's back.

Is he going to be happy being a backup? First time ever in his career right?
He won't be happy.. At the same time he's not the type who is going to sit twiddling his thumbs or play politics about the manager.. If he's out of the team, then it means the one''s in the team are more hungrier than him because Zlatan will come 100% committed..

He wants to prove the injury hasn't affected him.. Would be a great influence to have around for Lukaku,Martial and Rashford..

Can't wait for him to come back. 5 points at this stage is nothing. We have to just wait for city to slip up. If they do not then fair play to them but I don't want our team to give up. I would be sad if we finish 2md but will be proud of this team and manager if we take city to their limits.

When saying you want to win the title is deemed as ambitious and having amazing confidence it says a lot about the rest of the squad. Everybody at this club should have that attitude. Good for Zlatan though, he'll provide a boost upon his return

This may be a stupid question, but is Zlatan registered for the Champion's League squad, and if not, can he be?

The amount of pathetic weinery posters who have already given up is horrendous.

Probably turn off any game we're not winning with 40mins to go and do something else.

After Jose spunking 200m on this team, nothing but 1st is acceptable for Utd surely? No one remembers teams finishing 2nd or 3rd

I hear a Roy Keane echo here, and rightly so @Phil Jones 79 . If we bring in a player for Midfield like Fabinho and a creative forward this coming window ( January), we can still win this League. Ibra will be a big influence in the dressing room and on the training ground, as well as on the pitch.

Who cares about Lukaku vs Zlatan.

Scenario 1: Zlatan wins = Zlatan is better
Scenario 2: Lukaku wins = Lukaku is better
Scenario 3: Jose plays both = Both win

Whatever the scenario is, it's a win for us. Because with a player of this charisma, he for sure will win us trophies, for both the team and himself.

Finding a player with this charisma is like finding another player with the skills of Maradona/Pele/Zidane/Messi/Ronaldo.

Never underestimate psychology. That's why you have "Home advantage" in soccer.

So......who doesn't want another Cantona !

Refreshing to hear some fighting talk to be honest.

These were my thoughts exactly.
All the doom and gloom in here is ridiculous when we are still fighting on all fronts and doing very well.
As fans, we should be expecting a title fight with MCFC.
In Ibra we should get another option in attack and will allow us to rest Lukaku. Right now Lukaku appears to be playing all 90 minutes of every match, which isn't a good thing.

I highly doubt we'll be buying any players in January.
Last Summer I believe that Jose did want to buy at least another player, but finances were an issue (his bosses did not want to pay excessively high transfer fees, which unfortunately now, are the norm).

In a interview with Thierry Henry, Zlatan says that the injury prolonged his career just so he can prove a injury won't decide how he retires from top football. Reading this I can't help to think how important a personality like his is in a squad and how much the younger players can learn from him when it comes to the mental aspect of the game.

Excellent, we desperately need winners like him, Pogba in the team. It was shocking to see how we performed after going behind vs Huddersfield. Needed someone to hold the game by the scruff of the neck and drag us over the line.

Amazing line from the big guy: "I will walk out just as I came in, I will not walk out limping."
