Yes! It's the defence (considering the injuries) and midfield I was hoping for. A little surprised Park is playing instead of Rooney, but I'm guessing that's because he's only just back. I'm sure he'll be the first player on early in the second half.
 
Rooney probably not considered worth the risk I suppose coming from injury.

Im pleased with that team. Never expected both Evans and O'Shea to be there. Hopefully they are in a good state to play. Rooney isnt started because he has only just returned from injury, he will get on in the second half though. I expect big things from our attackers because we must find the net tonight.

Fletcher and Park on the wings should shore up the defence no end. Gutted Rooney isn't playing but there's more than enough creativity with Giggsy Carrick Ronaldo and Berbatov.
 
Rooney, Tevez and Scholes - not a bad trio of substitutes to bring on.
 
Very attack minded bench which should make the second half very interesting.

I'm expecting the first half to be dull with us playing too cautious.

If rooney not playing is because of the injury then why not tevez.
 
Reckon Rooney may be kept on the bench just to wind him up. 2nd half he'll come on pissed with a point to prove and score. It usually happens when he gets dropped to the bench.
 
It'll be interesting to see Ronaldo and Berbatov pairing together up front.
 
Looks like we'll see how Berba is at being a lone front man, with Rooney and Tevez likely to come off the bench to make a impact. I actually think this could be good with Park, Giggs and Ronaldo breaking with Berba holding up play and laying balls off to them but at the same time not overcommiting by having Fletcher and Carrick back, however i suppose only time will tell!

Its odd but i am a little gutted to see both Tevez and Rooney on the bench but i think it will show Tevez that SAF picks a team for the occation and not just on form/loyality.
