I mean I don’t have to, I know the header you’re going on about (Chelsea) but the post is silly.Think about it.

Ah it was a joke, fair enough then. Not silly at all. A little quip that an ex-player just needs to score an important goal to get the job.
Nobody wants to manage these misfit players. Their performance yesterday and against city showed that Ole is not the only problem.
How did it come to this? Jesus.
No. Just no.
If it’s a stop gap until the end of the season, would rather have Keane. Someone to put a rocket up these feckless lazy shites
Exactly. We have a game on Tuesday ffs.Not sure why few are moaning about this. Till we appoint permanent or care taker manager we need temporary guy in charge for couple of games.
How many games he will be in charge depends on how slow board is in getting the next manager.
You're spot on. Folk are really getting carried away about this. Not sure why few are moaning about this. Till we appoint permanent or care taker manager we need temporary guy in charge for couple of games.

Jesus we ain’t hiring Fletcher permanently. Someone needs to sit there on Tuesday. Hopefully someone proper in for Chelsea.

This board is utterly clueless admittedly as they were still running with the Ole is our guy as late as Friday. However, the next manager will be Zidane though. He and United agreed for him to be in place at the end of this season after he has learned some English. I’ve heard it on very good authority - not from tabloid gossip - that he has agreed to buy a penthouse in Manchester last week. I don’t want him but he’s coming….if he takes over now it’s 5 months too soon but obviously Ole has nowhere to go after yesterday. Fletcher interim til then? Good grief - more likely Zidane takes over with an interpreter - worked with Poch at Southampton the board will think.
I honestly cannot see him managing more than a game or 2 at worst. Club won’t be fecking around this time. Too much noise on lots of different candidates. Just hope when we do bring a proper manager in he gets to bring his own coaches with him too.The worry is that if we get Fletcher in now as interim, he may stay in place till the Summer. Or worse, he may be given the full-time job.
We currently have a set of elite level players and they NEED an elite level manager with a big name who the players will buy into.
I’d have to agree with you here. I’ve lost faith in the coaching team. As much as Ole took most of the stick I think the whole coaching team have failed. They were a huge part of the failure and must be held accountable. We need a complete reset with a world class team. I’m extremely worried this will be overlooked and the issues will transfer from one to the next.If Phelen, Carrick and McKenna keep their jobs then that is ridiculous
Carrick looks like he has had a charisma by pass, sits on the bench and says nothing.Carrick in charge until we find an interim manager.
If Michael Carrick somehow manages to cling on again it’ll be absurd. We need a full clear out in the coaching staff.
Ole has taken the bullet and rightly so but this is a collective failure - by all accounts Carrick and McKenna were the main coaches and the ones the players didn’t respect. Keeping them around doesn’t really solve anything. Let them go learn elsewhere.
