Jose's signings and those possibly leaving this summer?

It would appear Reece Oxford is someone we are after.

I really doubt there will be as many ins & outs as some people expect. Three signings tops i recon.

I think we will be after Joao Mario, Gomes, Gareth Barry, Stones unfortunately, Reece Oxford, Ibra and Sané or Mané.

Ive long argued a big part of our problem last season was too many changes, made too quickly. So I think reports that Mourinho wants to keep change to a minimum, maybe 3 editions for now, are credible. A centre back and a striker for sure. I have a feeling we might not address centre mid just yet, but if we get that it might mean Valencia gets moved back up to the wing and we leave that position for now.

I reckon he'l buy John Stones and have a CB/RB option rolled into one, along with signing Zlatan and one pacey winger. Hopefully if Shaw can stay fit following the leg break, Blind should be able to aid in midfield.

Blind in centre midfield alongside schneiderlin is pretty strong. Blind can be an excellent distributor that can also set the tone. Now that carrick is going to move on I would like to see him back in midfield where his intelligence and composure can be utilitied. With a quality attacking midfielder and Morgan it could have a nice balance to it

Id be interested to see if Blind, Schneiderlin and Herrera can work under Mourinho.

I don't think Mourinho will be doing a massive overhaul straightaway. It will be moderate changes this summer.

In:
Ibrahimovic
Stones/Varane
Oxford
Kryzhowiak
Mane

Out (loanees included):
Rojo
Valdes
Mata
Fellaini
Blackett
Pereira
McNair

Summer 2017, however, I expect the following players to leave:
Carrick
Schweinsteiger
Lingard
Januzaj (could leave this summer, too)
Blind
Young
Rooney (50/50)

I was tempted to put Depay on the 2017 list, but I really believe Mourinho will make something out of him.

Mourinho rarely goes above the 30m mark for a player so I can't see him get Stones as he would cost more. He would probably find a cheaper option (Manolas?). Regarding Fellaini I can't recall seeing Mou playing such type of player. He always seem to want his defensive minded midfielders to have a certain level of vision, positioning and passing ability (Cambiasso, Matic, Zanetti etc).
You wont get near top players these days if you wont pass 30m

Rojo is an absolute car crash of a player, his positioning on set pieces is unbelievably bad. His concentration on the pitch is dreadful, he misplaces so many passes. He gives away so many needless fouls. When he actually gets up in the opposition's half his delivery is shocking. He's a rash player and an accident waiting to happen. He's so bad we don't actually know where his best position is. Mourihno can't work miracles, Rojo makes Liverpool defenders look good. That's how crap he is.

Schneiderlin is a quality player, Van Gaal could suck the confidence out of Messi. He had a few poor games in the second half of the season. He's a DM, people don't understand his role. We need a proper attacking midfielder to partner him. It was his first season playing in a terrible team. I can see him being a huge player next year under Mourinho, just you wait and see.

Harsh but accurate analysis of Rojo. He's so bad and that number 5 ... just no.

People keep mentioning Matic, surely he's not going to want anyone from Chelsea after what happened there? OK Willian still gave everything but Matic was as shit as everyone else wasn't he?
didn't he absolutely publicly slate Matic start of the season for his poor performances?

My point is that he doesn't go overboard in terms of transfers. If he can't get a player for a reasonable price he would switch to another target

Exactly.

I hope we don't get anyone from Chelsea to he honest. Willian I could live with, tho the price looks ridiculous. But I like him. Anyone else, no way.

Even Costa's name has been mentioned. I thought he was right at the centre of the dressing room meltdown? Or was it Hazard? Or Terry? Let's play it safe and avoid the lot of em.

Weirder things have happened in football. Figo to Barca, RvP to us, Campbell to spurs, Cruyff to Feyenoord, West Ham suddenly announcing Tevez and Mascherano (two muppet targets already on the caf back then), bebe to us...
...Mourinho selling us Mata...

 Bet we don't sign one of those players. I reckon the only one we are interested in is Varane.
Also Smalling isn't good with the ball on the right, not sure of him on the left. We are supposedly after Andre Gomes and Zlatan yet neither of them are in this side.

Stones seems like an obvious target given Mourinho's courtship last summer. Have to say my own feelings on that are mixed after his pretty poor second half of the season.

Ibra would be a blockbuster for a year or two. Would add some real
Bollocks to the team!

Rojo should go first without question.!

Hope Mata doesn't go just yet although feel his days are numbered.

Blind should be there to do a grand job as first utility man next season. He can be the new O'Shea/P.Nev...

Young has served his time but it's time to go. That said the likes of him and Valencia could do well in an organised Jose side with a set task.

Centre mid will be interesting as Carrick is another year older, we can't rely on BS and Schneiderlin didn't seem to be fancied by Jose when he was at Chelsea.

The main thing he needs to be doing is keeping DDG on board for the time being.

Don't think Depay will go just yet but unless he starts the season well it could be curtains for him by January with a loan/cut price move elsewhere

Think Herrera will either blossom under Jose or be out the door within the next year. Really think he could go either way

I wonder what his take on Rooney will be. I can see him sticking with the midfield thing tbh

It's been reported various places that Jose wants to rebuild the spine with a centre back, central midfielder and a striker but I see a goal scoring pacey right forward too.

I'd love to see Varane, Pogba, Greizmann and Ibrahamovic but I think it's more likely to be Stones instead of Varane and Walcott if he leaves Arsenal instead of Griezmann but Ibrahamovic is a free so we'd definitely have the money for Pogba.

I don't think we'd see lots of leaving from the first team so Valdes, Blackett, Rojo, Fellaini, Powell and one of Young of Depay with Varela, Januzaj and Wilson all being loaned out.

Ibra, Kante, Greizmann & Varane (prefer Laporte)

..................De Gea.................
Darmian.....Smalling....Varane....Shaw
............Kante.........Schneiderlin
..................Rooney..........
Greizmann.....Ibra.........Martial

Would be ideal, but Kante will stay one more season and Greizmann will be difficult to sign.

We won't be signing Walcott lol

I actually kind of hope Kante stays along with Vardy and Marhez, but then there other options like Niguez and even Maitc would be happy with.
Greizmann has a release clause of 65m, if he wants to join, theres no reason why he shouldn't be a United player next season.

Not sure about Griezmann, he seems like a #10/SS to me, but that's not what we need. We need a RW, and up top if we want options I think we should be signing an all out centre forward rather than someone playing just behind the centre forward.

We will absolutely need a #10 if Mata isn't fancied by Mourinho, which is quite likely.

Unfortunately Rooney will most likely be the main option in the advanced midfielder role though.
