Genuine thanks to Chelsea too by the way. I hope we fecking return the favour and smash City and Arsenal for them. :D

We've signed fecking Juan Mata and you're stressing over the stock exchange?
Haha

Not stressing just curious! Unlike you panicky wusses, I had no doubt this would go through!

I'm wondering if the addition of Mata in the team would make Kagawa a better player as well when he gets a chance.
Always felt that Kagawa needed better footballers around him to excel since his main quality is his combination ability.

I'd like to see this sometime:

-------------Rooney--------------
Mata-------Kagawa------Januzaj

Replace Rooney by Van Persie if the former decides he wants to leave.

I'd like Januzaj to get that but yeah, Mata would do as well.
I thought that at first too but then Januzaj seems perfect for #11 after Giggsy. One legend stays for his whole career and retires with it, another potential future one.

If not the 7, the 11 for sure for him. He's going to be our best player within the next 2 years imo.

Despite all the strangeness of our club record fee being for a player frozen out at Chelsea, Mata is an exceptional player I've enjoyed watching since he was a teen and I'm very glad for him that he's got a chance to do big things here for us. We're signing a quality player and lessening our reliance on Rooney at a fairly sensible time with arguably the player most equipped to do it in the league. A good signing long term and I hope he can settle down and shake off the rust as soon as possible

We've seen at Arsenal what the effect can be when you pay up to bring a quality player into the team. It can inspire and raise the game of several players around him. And hopefully we'll see something similar here... Tom Cleverley to start scoring as often as Ramsey? Okay maybe not.

With attacking wide talent of Mata, Januzaj, Kagawa and Nani, you'd like to think that Valencia and Young won't get much of a look in barring injuries or necessary rotation.

Not to be pedantic but he hasn't signed yet.

But who gives a feck, we're signing Mata get the feck innnnn.

Nobody wanna see us together
But it don't Mata no
Cause we got you

Yeah this signing is just going to extend Nani's undroppable run

Mata central every day of the week there, he has shown far more than Kagawa to deserve that spot

This is pretty much going to make of break Moyes for me. Surely he'll look to move the pair of them on now. I'm worried that its more likely Nai and Kagawa will be shipped out.

I'm curious about where Moyes will play him. Does this finally spell the end of Valencia and Young regularly starting, or does he play Mata centrally? I'd like to see Januzaj and Mata occupying wide positions and Rooney and RvP up top.

Hopefully having Mata, Januzaj, Kagawa and Nani in the squad should mean we don't have to see Valencia and Young too often.

Someone post some bloody videos!

I'm a bit late to the party but feck yeah! People are staring cause i am celebratin at a pub table while my gf us in the toilet. Weel done Moyes and Woodie!

So should be come right in and start against Cardiff?
I don't see why not really. Januzaj is knackered and needs a bit of a break and who better to replace him with? Rooney and RVP might be back too I think. A home game against Cardiff, everyone lifted by him, can't think of a better time to introduce him. Gives him a full 90 minutes and not just 10-15 minutes.
