Juventus - Real Madrid (CL Final)

I think i have overestimated Juve a bit, it really seems that Bayern vs Real was the advanced final where the best played eachother.

Still a bit sad for Buffon and gutted to see Real winning it back to back.

Who has achieved more? Big Ronaldo certainly hasn't

Ronaldo scored 12 goals in the UCL. 2 in the final infact hes scored 10 goals 6 times. No one has scored more than 10 twice.

Maradona never won or even played an European Cup final, he only scored 2 goals in 6 games. Is he worse than Anelka?

Put fellani and longballs to trouble Madrid defensivly? Put fellani on Ramos?

Madrid were simply the better team.

Think the initial pace was too fast and the game too open for Juve to be effective. I was expecting a more cagey and closed approach like they had with Monaco.

I expect Juve to spend big in upgrading their midfield this summer. They missed a player like Pogba in the middle of the park. Both Khedira and Pjanic are not good enough to go against Modric+Kroos talk less of adding Isco to the mix.

Juventus are great, so are barcelona for all their problems, but the two best teams in the world this season were us and bayern. That was the true final for me

Remember when Juve didn't miss Pogba because of Pjanic who was cheaper and better anyway? juventuz.com should be fun today.

They reached the CL final and won their league. I'd say they didn't miss him.

So Juventus play defensively throughout the CL and get to the final. Then they decide they should attack in the final? Allegri had a shocker. Real Madrid are so lethal counter attacking and are lethal with wing play.

Juventus didn't look at all threatening offensively and I've heard lots of Juve fans claim Dybala to be better than Messi the past few days. Maybe Juventus should have tried a 1 match loan for MSN for this final :D.

Let's hope someone gives some serious competition to Real next season as they seem unbeatable in these types of games currently. Barca seem like the only team that can beat them so if they fix their midfield and get a new RB and GK they'd be set.

Not necessarily. No team looks like they could beat Real atm the only team I would have fancied to beat Real in this final is Barca.

Madrid are just too powerful upfront. Score goals for fun and its near impossible to stop them from doing so.

Some fans just cant help but say stupid things

Far too many people on the pitch ruining the celebrations.

They're a double edged sword, press forward and you're exposed to be nailed on the counter, play deep and eventually they will score a couple because they pour quality in at least 7 attaking positions.

Personally, I think teams like Atletico and Juventus are the ones Zidane loves to play against, they can put Real in problems with their intensity and pressing, but once Real shows their fangs a couple times they cower 40 meters behind where they were playing and become useless. If you want to beat Real your best chances are playing in their field and hoping either your forwards or defenders have their night of the year, but sitting deep almost never works in big games versus them

Something has happened at the Juventus fan zone in Turin.

Reports that it was a false alarm, but people were rushing from the area and injuries have been reported.

Congrats to Madrid, very much deserved winners and a big improvement in style from last year.

I think Steven Gerrard will be driving De Gea to the airport. feck off you cnut.

I think they're extremely efficient and clinical. They have the players to hurt deep sitting teams as Ronaldo has turned into an excellent poacher in the box where he just gets at the end of any cross or pass and scores. I can't see any team being able to beat them tbh. They beat both Juventus and Bayern Munich, I feel as if Barcelona would have lost against those two but then at the same time, Barcelona are the only team good enough to beat Real. If Barca can fix their midfield, add a RB (Aurier?) and a WC GK (OBLAK?/LENO/FARHMAN?) then they could be set to start winning stuff again.
