Juventus - Real Madrid (CL Final)

The only difference maker is Ronaldo.

Yeah dream on. Modric, Carvajal, Marcelo, Ramos, Kroos.... you dont judge this game alone, but the whole season. Nearly every one of their players performs, even Asensio makes an impact every time he comes on.

Was hoping SAF might have been part of the trophy ceremony so we get a Ronnie-SAF moment.

Every other one is nullifiable Ronaldo creates panic in defenses

Juventus didn't look at all threatening offensively and I've heard lots of Juve fans claim Dybala to be better than Messi the past few days. .

their attack isn't even the second best in their own league (Napoli and Roma both scored 90+ goals, Juve about 70+, like Torino and Inter for example). they were lucky Mandzukic scored that goal, the goal he usually doesn't score. outscoring Madrid was always mission impossible here, especially with Higuain as your main striker in final.

Kroos' English is very very good, especially for someone who has never lived here.

Real without Ronaldo is not much, if any better than the other elite teams imo.

Ronnie is an absolute machine, What an unbelievable player!

Another masterclass by Luka.

Feel sorry for Mandžo. Had a good 1st half but disappeared in the 2nd like all of the Juve team.

Personally hoped that Juventus (read: Gigi) would win it but Real fully deserved this one. After the break there was only one team on the pitch.

Whole Madrid team showed up tonight and played great but Ronaldo will get most of the praise and rightly so, especially when you look at his performances in CL knockout phase and this final. As a Croat, happy for Modric, great performance and once again a proof how brilliant player he is.

Congrats to Madrid fans here.

I am very disappointed by Juve performance in the second half. That was simply sad. They had no guys, no spirit, no fight in them. They came out as it was second extra time period. Real Madrid was lucky but they earned that luck, they worked for it. I am bitter but I can't allow myself to be too bitter as Juve showed no fighting spirit. They gave Real Madrid game on the platter. I can't believe that physically Real Madrid was in such a better shape. Both teams have had equal rest.

Modric was sublime. Xavi-style performance tonight.

I am pissed to be honest. Really wanted Gigi, and Leo Bonucci to lift the trophy. How one of the best defenses in the whole competition managed to lose the same amount of goals in one game, as throught the entire campaign is beyond me. But what really is depressing is the fact that madrid won as much as we did throughout our entire history, in just four years.

Happy with that, especially for Ronnie. Thought Madrid were brilliant in the 2nd half. Gained je advantage due to a lucky goal but they were dominantm

We have already qualified, we have to play super cup first

Talking about Sevilla. :wenger::lol: I am biased when it comes to Real Madrid because Zidane is my all time favourite (yet my favourite players are in Barca), but let's not get it twisted; Soy Sevillista.

Without ronaldos attacking runs his passing range has less value , what it makes effective is ronaldos superior runs
You could say that without his accurate balls Ronaldo's runs have no value.

They're both important.

Not necessarily. No team looks like they could beat Real atm the only team I would have fancied to beat Real in this final is Barca.

Wut? Bayern was on the same level. The Ref totally screwed them.

Was a shame Modric lost a few years playing for Tottenham he's the best midfielder in Europe right now
Well it was his start in Europe. Back then he was good but not as good as he is now.

And to think all of Kovačić, Modrić and Mandžukić played at Dinamo Zagreb once.

The only difference maker is Ronaldo.
But that is the point, isn't it?.

When you have a great squad that can compete with the best and then add a top quality player like CR7, he truly becomes the difference maker. This is what Messi enjoyed in the past with Xavi and Iniesta in midfield.

It is difficult to be the difference maker when you have to essentially carry the team to make them competitive.

Besides Maradona, I cant think of another player that has been able to carry teams and still be the difference maker.

Ronaldo will carry any team along with him and be the difference maker of that team with Messi same can't be said.
