:nervous: nervy about this one

Better lads?

I went old school for this one.

Way to washed out, but love a bit of the "Football Club". Why the hell did they take that off the kits (could understand taking it off other things).

Attack the space with the "Football Club" glazers.

It happened in the mid 1990s did it not?

We should have kept it

We should have, was under the previous regime we got rid of it. There is a really nice HD version of a "Football Club" kicking about somewhere. Might be bsc who sent it to me I'll send him a PM.

This will be one hell of a match. Cant bloody wait. This pool midfield is dire, i hope we have cleverley back and we batter them cnuts.

With Gerrard back, it'll be a decent midfield.
Not great, but certainly not dire

------Lucas--xxx
Ugly----Gerrard--Downing
------Suarez
will be solid enough

our record at anfield has been really poor, time to put it right......we are due a win there.

Hope the players play their hearts out, I'm sick of losing to Liverpool there

Is Suarez jetting off half way across the world only to be back on the Thursday? Please say yes.

Really wish Vidared had made this thread :nervous:

Preferably, I'd love to smash the bastards but I'd take an O'Shea style single goal at the death.....just as long as we win.

We're overdue a win there. Pray to God we have Vidic, Smalling and Cleverley back.

So far this season I think we are playing better football with Welbeck in the team. The lads movement into wide & deep positions & his ability to pass and move are a real problem for the opposition. And on top of all that he is scoring goals too. If its 4-4-2 against Liverpool it has to be Rooney and Welbeck up front. Otherwise its three in midfield with Rooney, Young & Nani in attack.

Team should be...

GK: De Gea

RB: Jones
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Evans
LB: Evra

RM: Nani
CM: Fletcher
CM: Anderson
LM: Young

CF: Rooney
CF: Welbeck

Subs: Lindegaard, Valencia, Carrick, Giggs, Park, Hernandez, Berbatov

That's assuming no injuries over the international break, even if he's fit I'd be surprised if we threw Vidic into a game like this, Fletcher has to play given our record in big games with him in the side. I'll go for a 1-2 win Jones and Welbeck with our goals.

Way too early to really predict a team what with internationals and potential injuries etc. But if everyone that's meant to be fit is, I'd go with:

de Gea

Smalling
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra

Nani
Cleverley
Anderson
Young

Rooney
Welbeck

SUBS: Lindegaard, Jones, Fletcher, Giggs, Park, Valencia, Hernandez.

Very nervy already. Can´t stand losing to them lot. Please wear the shirt with pride whoever is gonna play and show the filth what we are made of. COME ON UNITED:devil:

I want to see Welbeck playing, but Fergie might go for Rooney on his own and a 5 man midfield.

Liverpool haven't exactly been classy. Knowing those game raising cnuts this is their cup final. Hopefully 2-1 Rooney Hernandez. Carragher Red card.

It's Liverpools Cup final.

I don't think we ever do too well away to the likes of Liverpool when we go 4-4-2.

It's more likely Fergie would choose Carrick ahead of Jones in the below team, but I just wanted to find a way to include both Jones and Smalling, two of our best performers this season.

Take Jones' bursting runs out of the current side and we're not as good. Would be interesting to see what he could do from a midfield position in our set-up, though it's probably not the match for experimenting.

Loads of pace in the front 5 here too, for hitting on the counter - a tactic that has served us well in these type of games.

De Gea
Smalling - Rio - Vidic - Evra
Jones
Cleverley - Anderson
Nani - - Rooney - - Young

We're due a win at Anfield. The last few years have been painful to watch.

Don't care how we do it, just want 3 points.
