Yeah, it's a bit weird.I was eager to see if Fabio at least made the bench, which he hasn't. Why? Is he injured - how come a player who is going out on loan is ahead of him?

I think we'll lose now after seeing this lineup. All we can hope is RVP has moments of magic.
Who should be at RB then? Fabio would be targetted and he has barely played this season. For me Jones at RB is the biggest disappointment.
Not a bad team though I suppose.
Jones v Couthino wont be pretty.
I'm not happy with the line up but I wouldn't say that. Giggs is starting and Valencia isn't and Valencia is a lot more defensive and cautious than Giggs.
Why? He's a very good defender, as he showed Hazard. He's just shite going forward.Jones v Couthino wont be pretty.
I wish people would not post any old team they've seen on twitter this close to kick off just so they can be the first one to do it.
fecks with my betting!
I would think it's a 4-4-1-1 with Welbeck/Young wingers and Giggs AM/SS.If Welbz is on the wing and Giggs is playing behind the striker I will probably top myself
Valencia was wank against Chelsea. Glad to see Young get the nod over him. Giggs starting at Anfield for his experience was always nailed on.

Well, the team just went from 'epic' to 'mediocre'.

Serves you right for relying on the CAF.
Fabio or Valencia.Who should be at RB then? Fabio would be targetted and he has barely played this season.

That's very true.
What's the deal with Kagawa, is he being Mata'd?
Its the combined attacking threat of Giggs and Young that worries me.
Kagawa is surely injured though? imagine he was completely dropped from the side.

Would've preferred Valencia over Giggs for his defensive contribution
Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand on Wayne Rooney's omission:
"It's disappointing obviously but whatever has happened has happened and we can't go back now. We have quality players that can fill the void."
What's this? Whatever has happened has happened? What happened, didn't he suffer a cut to the head? Has there been a fall-out, sounds ominous
Valencia was alright against Chelsea.. Young has a lot less attacking bollocks than Valencia also, I prefer Valencias run around in a 360 - play a short pass, than Young's run forward 5 yards - run backwards than pass backwards.
I don't mind seeing Giggs there, since Kagawa and Rooney probably aren't fit, but I don't like Young on the right, and I don't see point of Buttner being on the bench when we have Fabio who is better than him anyway, and can play on both sides too.
