Well Liverpool have done exactly what I thought they would do. Problem is, we haven't done what we know we can do. ffs.

It's obvious Liverfool are going to come out the blocks flying and we should have been just as fired up as them. atm we are second best in everything! They are successful in winding our players up, getting the 50/50's and are closing us down a lot better than we can manage on them. Seriously need a kick up the arse from Moyes at half time!
 
Amazed at the lack of urgency and the amount of balls played between defenders, get the ball forward ffs.
 
Ando and Nani on, Cleverly and Giggs off. If we want any chance of scoring or creating chances, these two have to come on. It really is as simple as that. They are losing the ball constantly, and have provided sweet feck all to the game.
 
And you guys said I was going into Meltdown on friday night! Calm down, need to take Giggs off, take a breath and get Nani and Hernandez on. He is available right?
 
Not sure we could be playing in to their hands any more, letting them press us high up the pitch, only carrick dropping back to help them, it's not enough if you're being pressed high you need to drop back. Going the ball away cheaply and letting the game become stop start, rvp needs to cool down as well, again by reacting he's getting the crowd back up on their side.

Think we should take giggs off and either go for a three with ando or stick nani out wide. At the moment we're nt particularly defensively strong and we're not particularly offensively strong.
 
A very stop-start half. We've been swarmed really and we're struggling to deal with it. Wasting possession and not creating enough when we go forward. We're starting to lose our heads as well.

Much work to do be done to turn the game around.
 
I wish more of our players had a bit of nasty like rvp. We need to get this team fired up
The pace has been way too slow.

So far its par for course in terms of Anfield performances. Conceding the early goal is a real kick in the teeth, but I suppose we didn't defend the corner very well. Sloppy passing so far and not too many chances created by us (or them either). Tight match which is threatening to boil over! Our discipline has been poor in this one and im not sure why. Several yellow cards for our midfield and even RVP. Moyes I suppose took the safest route in selecting this team, with supposedly experienced players. However, Young and Giggs have been very poor in supplying Welbeck and RVP. The central midfield hasn't had much of a foothold on the match either. I think we would do well to get a draw here and move on because we just aren't looking very potent upfront.

Haven't been very good either. Poor passing for the last 25 minutes. Stupid card from Cleverley.

If Suarez were there instead of Aspas then Liverpool would have a better front 4 than us.
 
Frustrating as that has been, both sides have done the square-root of feck all since the goal so it's not as if we're hanging on. With RVP on the pitch we always have a threat and Hernandez from the bench poses another.

We played just as badly here last season against 10 men.
 
Groan. The "Moyes out" shit is far more embarrassing than any failed transfer bid.
 
Giggs and Cleverley have been terrible. Young may as well not be on the pitch, he's done absolutely nothing bar give the ball away for their goal.
 
Giggs has been awful and we all saw it coming too.

Hope to see Nani quite soon and although I'd like to see Chicharito come on as well, I'm not sure where we could fit him in just now.

Needs to be much, much better after the break.
 
The supply in to RVP and Welbeck has been shocking. We have created absolutely nothing at all.

I hope that we don't waste a substitution bringing Hernandez on as he will be completely isolated, unless we change our play considerably.
 
RvP knows what he has to do to piss that scouse cnut off!
 
Don't see what really happened. He's given Skrtel a bit of a shove. Happens in every game countless times. Skrtel has then done a little pretend stumble about a second and a half after he realised he'd been shoved. Surprised he didn't go all out and fall over.

I'm all for passion in a derby, but I fear that the ref won't have any of it.
 
Young and Giggs have been woeful; hardly a surprise! Didn't expect Carrick and Rio to be so poor.
 
Well that was...interesting. To be fair it doesn't feel that much different to when Fergie was still managing.

Oh and that Aspas seems like a right twat.
 
Why does it take an Arsenal player of nine years to be the only wound-up United player? Passionless performances from pretty much every one of our lads. As per usual at that dump.

I miss the days when we used to have 20+ passes in the build-up to a goal. When's the last time that happened? Our short passing is mediocre at best and has been for ages, and we seriously lack spark.

Moyes has to already learn that we aren't Everton and we shouldn't be playing not to lose.
