Liverpool Vs Manchester United

The Liverpool XI in full is: Reina, Johnson, Insua, Carragher, Agger, Mascherano, Lucas, Aurelio, Benayoun, Kuyt, Torres. Subs: Cavalieri, Voronin, Babel, Ngog, Spearing, Degen, Skrtel.

Sky Sports News said Owen was smiling walking towards the dressing rooms as he was starting.

I'm surpised Scholes and Carrick both start. I'd of prefered one with Anderson.

My only worry is that Giggs will be played a bit more central, meaning Evra will have to bomb forward to give us some width, leaving room for Johnson to exploit.

Hmm.. scholes in the middle is bit surprising, hopefully we see a masterclass for him.

Scouse lineup?

He was smiling because Ferguson had his arm around him and was pushing him towards the away changing room.

That Liverpool bench is fecking shocking. We need to cut the supply to Torres by marking Benayoun (class player) closely and we should get at least a draw.

Liverpool playing 2 left-backs on the left, and Kuyt, the defensive striker, on the right.

This one could get bogged down.

One of the papers explained the likely Liverpool strategy, aim for Kuyt on the back post against Evra, using lots of early balls from Insua and Aurelio on the left. So it will be important that Valencia and O'Shea shut down that side so that they don't get the chance to fire in crosses.

feckin yes. 4-4-2 with Berb and Rooney. I want to see us take them to the sword. The last two times we've played em weve got the early goal but allowed them back in. This time we need to do it and kill em off. Easier said then done but very possible.
