Liverpool vs. Manchester United

Starting them both is always a mistake for me and has been for a good few seasons.

With our injury situation that's the best team we could pick. Delighted DDG is back but it's probably the most difficult game for him to return to, hopefully he does well.

Draw or we do 'em.

Gerrard and Maxi Rodrigues are the real danger from them.

Danny is very good when alone up front - brave, runs his ass off, intelligent runs.

Under the circumstances, this looks like a good team.

A lot depends on the imponderables - Paddy's head, ref and yellows, rash challenges and early yellows.
We have an 11 at least as good as theirs today and 5 at the back from Dalgliesh at their gaff has him on the back foot.

Bellamy will be on if they are chasing a goal, Kuyt if we are.

Be nice to see Pogba blooded late on.

Liverpool look to be playing 541 or 361 if you want to put a different spin on it, I'm pleased with the omission of Bellamy as he tends to play well against us. Given their defensive set-up and the fact that we are without Nani and Rooney I'm going to predict a low-scoring game.

"Luis Suarez walks around the perimeter of the Anfield pitch carrying his young daughter. All smiles for and from the Liverpool contingent."

Jones, Ferdinand, Nani, Young, Rooney are all out.
Where are you getting that false info from?

Sometimes being right is fecking annoying.

That's a worse line up than the league game, if Liverpool play at a pace today, we're fecked. Their line up isn't that great either though.

Ah the good old "Hey I got daughter so I'm not racist" trick;)

A central midfield pairing with the combined age of 75? Oh dear.

Ah well, I still think we can trounce this lot.
