Liverpool vs. Manchester United

Saf has to change things or we are going to loose against 10 men. We can't carry players any longer. Giggs off for Cleverly and Kagawa for Anderson. Make the subs at half time not 75mins.

Rio has been brilliant, that's the only positive player wise.

Other than they are down to 10 men and believe me we were in for thrashing of the royal kind.

Scholes might be better choice

I like that we got the shit performance over in the first half. I'd be more worried if we went in HT 2-0 up just to concede 2 goals in the end to draw it. feck sake. We're fecking Manchester United. We play better football than this.

Damn, what the feck is wrong with Nani, fecked every ball he had, didn't even dribble to cross.. Pathetic...

Valencia never had the space in where we used to when Rooney was leading the line.

RVP looks unfit, he struggled to even sprint at times, I"d take a fit Hernandez who'll make more runs.

Kagawa has been pressed hard by Allen, done okayish so far, not his best form yet.

Carrick and Giggs were just by passed so easily by them, Liverpool's MF looked up for it, ran their asses off and pressed us really hard...

We need energy in big games like this, we needed a Park Individual for these games, I miss him so bad for these big games.

We don't deserve anything from the game based on the first 45. I am used to this type of display at Anfield, and have learned to live with the annual defeat there peacefully. It's becoming consistently crap recently that is more of a worry.

And people said Chelsea look unimpressive  We are not watchable since the start of the season (apart from one second half against a shit team)

The one guy who looks a threat we take him off?..

I'd move Nani to the right, take Valencia, Carrick and Giggs off. Put on Welbeck, Anderson and Cleverley.. we're being out run and we're not fluid enough in possession. Valencia's being nullified due to his one-footedness, Johnson's locked him off... Carrick and Giggs = too slow in posession for a game of this intensity.

Or we can keep it the same and win it the ugly way. A wins a win.

Three subs at half time? Are you mad?

Liverpool dominated that half and didn't score, we'll probably put our first half decent chance away in the 2nd half now. It has the makings of one of those games.

Fergie could do with changing things about at half time though, starting with replacing Giggs for Scholes.

At some point, we have to call into question the coaching. Continually hoofing the ball upfield, particularly when we have no target-man to bring it down, makes no sense at all. If that is our new style, then we should have kept Berbatov, because at least he has the height, and touch, to control it and bring others into play. But then again, given how many of our players like to stand around and wait for something to happen, perhaps the punt is the best option...

We have enough energy...on the bench

Worst ................. 45 ..................... Ever !!!!!!!!!

Not far off the worst I've seen.

We're so lucky it's Liverpool and they can't score.

Goes without saying we need to improve 2nd half, but I'm at the stage that I just want it over and I'd take a draw now !

Arguing amongst the panelists on FSC halftime show.

Wynalda claiming both players went in studs up. The difference I see is that Evans is playing the ball with not player in his path and Shelvey comes in studs up from an angle.

Alright, I've seen another angle and I think he had to send him off.

Ineffective tactics mainly, everyone's so far apart in their half that we're struggling big time. Carrick is being forced to sit deep as Giggs is wandering, Anderson (if he's on the bench) on for Giggs please.

We are just not getting going. Our players don't seem to know at all what the others out there are doing at all.
Pathetic football so far. Rio's been great though.

It is like watching Dagleishs Liverpool last year. What the feck is our system, what exactly are we all about? SAF needs to work out how to make this group work.

Bad team selection and even worse tactics. Not one to criticize ferguson but having a slow old team out there was always going to get crippled by a Liverpool team that has pace and presses very well.

We are fortunate that Liverpool have the attacking threat of a blind camel.

Well he has been awful, has he not?

Who hasn't, except Rio. Everyone on here is practically going to fault him for everything he does now, it doesn't matter about how the rest of the team have put in a shower of shite performance for the whole half, it's all about how bad Nani has been. I agree he has been terrible, but Valencia was worse. Didn't get out of his own half. Van Persie isn't in the game at all, and our midfield may aswell not be there.

Personally I prefer being 2:0 up.

As for the half, poor , they were up for it, we have a low movement midfield, and they ran us off the park.

This is the exact same way swansea played last year, lots of running, lots of posession, no real threat, they havent had many actual goal scoring chances, lot of effort with little to show.

Me, I'd put Danny on in place of nani, possibly move kagawa a bit further wide and have Danny play the middle link up, he holds the ball better than anyone else we have on the pitch.

Three subs at half time? Are you mad?

What's mad was selecting that lineup.. when its clear that Carrick rarely plays well at Anfield. I'd give it another 15 minutes.. the fact Liverpool have gone to 10 men could be the game changer, without need for subs.
