I played injured Liverpool star Sturridge in Germany game to test him, admits Hodgson
What are our resident Scousers thoughts on this?
that roy is a fecking cnut.
My hatred for the odious lesbian owl is stronger now than it has been in a long time.
Seriously, that interview is utterly bizarre. WTF is going on in his mind?

Can it be some kind of a revenge, after he was ousted from Liverpool?
I think he is trying to wind up Liverpool fans on purpose.
Like this part - I’d rather the players got injured now.'
More likely a kind of revenge for having to sit with the scouts like all the previous England managers when he last came to Anfield instead of the executive box. He had some mateys in the media tweeting about the indignity of it all before halftime.

It's a laughable fact in itself that Sturridge is suddenly so important in the England scheme of things.
Ludicrous England managers? Midget Swedish pornstar who shags anything that moves, token sitcom Italian who no spikka da English, rubberfaced cockney dodgy geezer mk II, Mr Teasy-Weasy camps it up again.Still have no idea how the bloke is England manager. He's an absolute clown.
'Dross'! You cheeky monkey, Lord Barn!![]()
It's your best chance in years of a Champions League finish, Barney. Blow it this year and I think you'll struggle for another while. You, like Arsenal, need to strike whilst United, Chelsea and City are still bedding in their new managers.
Reckon we need 7 points out of the Spurs, Cardiff, City and Chavs games. Do that and I'd be starting to get confident of a top 4 finish. Cardiff is a must win and I think we'll beat Spurs too.
The second half of our season sees us play all the dross away from home and the bigger teams at home. January will be crucial to us. If we can bring in that Montoya lad and a midfielder, as well as keep Suarez, I think we'll just about scrape it.
5-6 points from it would still be a very good return. If we get more, I'd start thinking title challenge moreso than top 4 challenge.

As it stands, we've played United, Arsenal, Southampton, Everton, & Newcastle & taken just 5 points out of a possible 15 from those aforementioned sides. & at no stage in any of those matches did we look to be in a position of control. For me, that's a big worry, & it's the reason why I think, at this moment in time, we don't have what it takes to break back into the top 4. Hope the manager & team can prove me wrong.
Fear ye not, the Welsh Xavi is back on form.Little Allen will see us through this patch.
