Liverpool

Not surprised about the score, this really has been the season from hell for us. It pains me to say it but Liverpool looked and played like champions today.

It's hilarious that Saiorse still manages to be bitter even though Liverpool are playing the best football in the country.

I've long felt this would all end with a tedious 0-2 from Chelsea at Anfield. Just a shame that the rentboy's overall bottlejob means that would only hand the title to City.

What a shitstain of a season.

Confidence, swagger, joy, aggression, precision and potent are all words that describe Liverpool right now.

8 wins on the bounce. The rest are chasing right now.

Just got back from the match, great atmosphere today, still don't think we will win the league but enjoying every minute of this.

Not sure why you are not confident. You were scoring at will...

But no, you're not going to win as you will bottle it in the remaining games. Fingers crossed:)

Mixed emotions, I am just trying to stay calm that's all and playing things down a little. After all at the start of the season I wasn't sure we would make the top 6 even.

Liverpool's form has been amazing but have they peaked a bit too soon?

A lot like the Liverpool of old. If they keep this up, they'll win it with games to spare but they've avoided injuries and have a great self-belief. I thought that they might have peaked too soon but they've shown no signs of slowing down. But for me, City's games in hand and ability to score goals from all over the pitch just gives them the edge.

If we do win it every Liverpool supporter has to do the honourable thing and flood this thread with pictures and videos of Gerrard celebrating. :D

Ahh, the one I've got that I've had to loan out for the past couple of years is in 204.

Right. To be honest in a way I regret moving as before I was with season ticket holders I had known for years whereas now most weeks there are different people around me.
I just didn't think my old seat was worth what they were now asking us to pay which was essentially top price in the ground, just outside 18 yard box towards Anfield Road end, better seat than where I am now but I fancied a change and a cheaper option.

If we do win the league I will be a little disappointed I won't be sat with my old mates.

They're on an unbelievable run, but I still think City will win the title.

These two games at Anfield vs Chelsea and City will be massive.

Understandable! I would imagine most of your fellow Liverpool fans have that same emotions, and let's be honest, it will take a bit of adjustment to be thinking of the League Trophy without pinching yourselves.. and some of you lot even have never had the experience of witnessing this position of yours it can be surreal sometimes I guess. Anyway, it will make bottling it less painful. :)

The length of time I have had a season ticket I have seen lots of title success - granted long time since the last one hence the caution.

Yeah, so long the memories of being successful faded away... Understandable. You lot might need a support group to get used to the idea of being on top of the table. :)

It feels so weird (still couldn't quite believe it's happening) we are an outsider in the title run and spending time watching the other teams as events unfold. *Sigh*

No, there is only 6 games left for them when would you want them to peak, the last game, they are looking incredibly strong up front and will cause city and Chelsea a lot of trouble at Anfield, if they win the match against city they should win the league and honestly i don't think city will be able to handle Liverpool's intensity.

I personally think it's written in the stars Liverpool will win it. Fergie leaves, a year late Liverpool are back on the perch. It's life...it does that. Still....it's still 20 times...to a possible 19 :-)

Will I be allowed to laugh if it goes to the final day and City win it or do I have to remain depressed?

Having said that. The way they have played, they way they have glavanised and really played as a team to individual strenghts without the backing of a huge sugar daddy. Well, in a sense the bloody deserve it. Still think city will nick it...but in all honesty as a football fan, City's win would be hollow, Liverpools a real achievement in the spirit of football generally.. yeah...it will piss me off, but hey, we've been pissing them off for 20 plus years...

They're playing the best football, scoring the most goals and have all the momentum plus they're at home in the key fixtures. I think they'll win the league.

City still should fancy their chances. If they get a draw at Anfield, they'll win it IMO.

And If not, we'll do the obligatory juxta position of him kissing the camera, and whoever actually win the trophy kissing that

After the way they laughed at us losing it on the last day....karma will hopefully speak.

But then we have to change it to Shinji 1, Gerrard 1. Stop making us change. Lose games for the sake of Shinji, Klopp already cries for him you don't want to send him over the edge!

I find it really hard to begrudge them it, they've been very well run over the past few years. The Glazers could leran a lesson or two in this post Ferguson era.

I only survived by not showing up for a week (any longer would have killed me :D )

Nothing to do with the predicting the future. Just common sense. Remember the last time you had a good run in at the end of a season? Do you also remember how it ended for you? Yes without a title. Nothing suggests it will be different this time apart from your hope as a fan. Which is okay but still deluded.
Are you for real? Ever heard the phrase "pot calling the kettle black" ?
