No shit.
I just woke up and can't be bothered reading through pages of post and tweets etc.
No shit.
we can only sale him if a an immediate replacement is lined up. For United cannot function for a whole season with just 2 natural wide men.
Which is impossible, because we'd never get a replacement at his level without paying a fortune.
It's a bit surreal reading this thread. You'd think it was 2009 by some of the posts.
Well there was lots of speculation before that, and then him being dropped for the Fulham game certainly didn't help, but all our other underperformers were dropped too. Rooney, Welbeck, Scholes, it's just that they still got places on the bench.
Some are still wedged firmly in their 2009 mindset.......Nani and the rest of us have moved forward. It's a bit surreal reading this thread. You'd think it was 2009 by some of the posts.
It's a sign of the times and a shame.
Being given a kick up the ass by being dropped after a poor performance is as old as the goal posts in football, nowadays it is read as "obviously leaving the club".
Selling Nani makes no sense whatsoever, other than balancing the books. That's the end of the debate.
https://www.redcafe.net/f6/statistics-2011-12-a-337003/How many assists did Nani contribute last season?
Watching the uncut press conference, someone finally asked about Nani not being in the squad - Sir Alex just looked a bit fed-up and replied he'd be in the squad on Sunday before someone else asked about Rio.
Nothing to read into of course I'm sure![]()
Hopefully he has had the kick up the ass he has needed now to kick start his career here and find a little consistency and make a huge impact this season here.
feck me, his career doesn't need "kick starting", he's been one of our best performers for a few years now.
Fergie sounded like he was considering topping himself when I was listening to him on BBC GMR yesterday. Sounded really fecked off and down, which isn't unlike him at a press conference to be fair.
He needs an kick starting, he's been in average since this year has started. I love to see him play, and hopefully he does enough to convince Fergie to give him a new contract.
He was injured for just one fecking month in this year. Stop changing facts. He played the match against Athletico on 8th March, got injured and then played against Wigan on 11th April.
I said he was injured on/off for 3 months. He played 6 times in 3 months, he was injured after the Arsenal game on 22nd of January. Calm down
He was also injured in January, KM.

Look at his appearances. Didn't play between 22nd January and 16th February. The last injury of the three was a minor one as he played against City 3 days later.
I wouldn't call any of his performances in the Euros or pre-season particulary outstanding.
